Winning Trainer: Simon Zahra

During the run: "I just sort of left it to Blaikey, he sort of summed it up quite quickly and rolled into it nicely, they were coming from everywhere but he had a fair bit of horse underneath him which was fantastic and yeah, I don't know, Carlton last night or this, I don't know what's better!

Down the straight: "We were keen to get up the straight throughout the carnival and look, she was really fat going into the first up run we sort of knew that, we sort of redirected where we wanted to go, sat down Saturday night and a month in between runs, a nice hit out on Friday… a great ride by Blaikey, summed it up nicely and got the job done."

Spring program: "We'll just get her home, she's still got improvement, we like to space her, keep her nice and happy, we've got a couple of months to work our way through the carnival so it's good to get black type on her name too now, she's done it all."

Winning Jockey: Blaike McDougall

Big field: "It looked messy on paper so I just said to Simon and just try and be in front of as many as we could and stay out of the ruck. She begun lovely today which was good to see, clickened well, curled up into a ball late, she was stopping at a rate of knots, she got a little bit lost, it's quite frightening coming out here inside the hundred, it's like you're running into a brick wall down there so look, she's done a tremendous job, she's a lovely filly I've had a lot to do with and thankful to the [owners] for putting me back on her."

Tired late: "It's amazing, it's something you don't understand until you're going down the straight, it literally looks like you're running through a brick wall, she was playing up in the yard, I wanted to trot her down to the river pass and give her a look which is what I would normally do but I just needed to get her to the gates safely. She's much better for the run and experience down the straight now, it's that time of year."
