Winning Trainer: Grahame Begg

On the horse: "She's a good filly, I reckon she'll be a better filly when she gets a sit but circumstances haven't let that happen, she's drawn very well, he took luck out of the equation and I think you've got to do that on this sort of ground but she's a very progressive filly."

Big ownership group: "It's terrific they've all turned out and got the right result today."

Soft ground query: "The first start in a race she ran on a soft 7 at Pakenham, it was 1200 metres first run, I thought to myself afterwards I might've asked her a little bit going to 1200 at her first start in a race but a bit of maturity, a bit of racing and a bit of seasoning behind her, she handled it well today."

Next year: "She'll definitely have a bit of a break now, work things out a little bit, it makes it a bit tricky but there's options all around the place. We'll work it out."

Best distance: "You never know, she might get a mile yet, she might be a Kewney filly or something like that but we'll work it out, we've got to look after her, make sure she comes through today well and it was a great ride by Jordan and I'm very pleased for the stable."

Winning Jockey: Jordan Childs

Handled conditions: "She managed to get through it well enough even though I do think she's definitely going to be better on top of the ground but she just showed a bit of class today and was able to hold on."

Easy lead: "It unfolded how I wanted it to, obviously a lot of scratchings so the speed came out of the race so I elected to jump and take it up, I had it my own way and gave a good kick around the corner. I think today being able to follow the rail, last start she just got a bit lost around that home corner and then had to chase one down and obviously we just missed whereas today she was able to follow the rail and I think that really helped her."

Progressive: "I really like her, she's a classy filly, she's very easy to ride, I think she'll just keep progressing through her grades, obviously going from maiden up to listed level in her second racing prep is a good effort so hopefully she can keep sticking up to the mark."
