Winning Trainer: Daniel Bowen

Had her ticking over nicely: "She's been a bit unlucky. I've been setting her up for this race for quite a while. She can get a bit big between runs so the quick back-up does her the world of good, and Sam gave her a great ride today."

Decent prize money: "Yeah it's a really good raceday, so it's great to have her peaking for her grand final. We may look to back her up next week if we can find a suitable race, I thought she was massive overs today so I don't think she'll go round at that sort of price next time!"

Winning Jockey: Sam Collett

Quirky mare: "I wouldn't want to play cards with her! At the 600 metre mark it felt like she was doing everything in her power not to go forward. She tried to wobble out so I had to pull my stick through, then she tried to scoot inside the leader so I had to pull my stick through again. But to her credit, she's really tough and rock hard fit, and she kept pinning her ears back in the straight."

Drop in weight: "She's not a big mare so the weight drop worked to her advantage, and you really need to be on the speed today."
