Winning Trainer: Chris Waller

What's on for dinner tonight?: "Some succulent Chinese at the Pink concert, believe it or not."

On the win of Democracy Manifest: "It was deserved. He's just been chipping away without a lot of luck. In the Group One Epsom he didn't get a lot of luck to go his way. But to win a Group Two today, I think it's pretty rewarding. He's got a good group of owners and it's a good reward."

Free ticket into the Doncaster. Is he up to that?: "Look, it's a big step but he's hit the line a lot to give, a bit of purpose. So you don't dare take away the chances of the dream of winning a Doncaster. It's a great race."

Winning Jockey: James McDonald

On the win: "At the 600 (metre mark) I didn't think he was much hope at all because you just haven't been able to make group up in the sticky conditions. But he just accelerated beautifully. He was really strong. To be fair to him, he got a little bit tired but he was entitled to because I set him a bit of a task. He enjoyed the room and he's got a brilliant acceleration. He's just a good horse in good form."

Now equal leader of Sydney premiership after his third Rosehill win: "Am I? Beautiful. May it continue. I'm only getting a roll on."

Does he think Democracy Manifest is a Doncaster horse?: "Yeah, I do. He's come back in great order and he's big and strong. Depending on weight, he'll give them a shake."

Beaten Jockeys:

Jason Collett (Detonator Jack): "Great return."

Tom Sherry (Phearson): "Just pulled too hard within himself."

Tommy Berry (Bold Mac): "Great run. The blinkers really switched him on. Had the back of the winner. Just sprinted too quick for me at the top of the straight. Loved him late."

Michael Dee (Just Folk): "Good run. Probably needed it. He'll improve."

Kerrin McEvoy (Welwal): "Didn't settle as well as I would have liked and that told on his finish."

Tom Marquand (Hezashocka): "First run back in the prep. Loved the way he towed down into the last furlong and a half. The speedy horses just kicked and levelled off wanting further again."

Chad Schofield (Caesars Palace): "Poor performance. Tailed off."

Dylan Gibbons (Glory Daze): "Disappointing on face value. See how he pulls up."

Tyler Schiller (Robusto): "I thought he was great stepping up to that grade. He was very tough. I thought he nearly had it in his grasp at the 300m but was just found wanting when the others had a bit of toughness late."

Rachel King (Amor Victorious): "Raced a little bit flat today."
