Winning Trainer: Peter Moody/Katherine Coleman (Katherine interviewed)

On her improvement: "She took great fitness improvement from that - she's a big, strong mare these days - so I think that run really brought her on nicely.

"But more importantly this preparation, mentally she's just so much better. She's a lot more tractable at home and her racing manners have really improved, so it's fantastic to see connections who have been really patient rewarded for that in the Arrowfield Stud connections."

Have they changed anything at home?: "We haven't changed anything with her, it's just been as she's matured mentally that's what making all the difference."

What's next?: "She's a Stakes-quality filly and we'll just look to get her into Stakes company and build on her pedigree now.

"It was fantastic to build a little bit of confidence today and hopefully we can build off that.

How far might she get?: "Definitely 1400 and the way she's settling in her races now, I don't think we'd shy away from the mile."

Winning Jockey: Mark Zahra

How advantage was riding her first-up?: "Yeah, very. She just relaxed for me so well up the straight and her turn of foot was good, it was just a bit stop-start for her to get over the top of them.

"Pete just gave me an open book (today), and I said, 'I'm not going to push her or pull her', and it was good that there was good enough speed for me to flow.

"I reckon it was about the 800 I thought, 'I reckon I'm going to win this'. She was just travelling so well."

On her pet trip: "I think maybe we've found her trip (1200m). Maybe over a shorter trip with speed on and she can be really strong late.

"But talking to Pete then, if there's a seven furlong (race) as long as there's speed on, but I love her at six (furlongs) off the bridle and hard through the line."
