Even better today: "I think so. She's very tough. She tries hard. She only ran last Thursday at Flemington on Anzac Day, so it's pretty much a week back-up and a trip to Adelaide and she's come here and been able to do that.
"It's really quite impressive and I'm really looking forward to her going forward from here."
Wanting to lead: "It was all dependent on how she was to jump. We went forward last time from an average gate and the same again today. We had the wide barrier, but she will be better ridden with a little sit, fourth, fifth, sixth, something like that.
"She will be more comfortabale with something to chase down because she gets out in front and floats and actually feels like she waiting for them. I'm sure she'd have a much better turn of foot if she was running just behind the speed."
