Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Mildura, Ipswich, Tamworth and Broome.

MILDURA: RACE 8 @ 4:00 PM

BLOOD SWEAT TEARS (3) deserved the 58 win on the synthetic and will be better for the run. Was heavily-bet and the in-form apprentice sticks. In a top yard and will take beating switching to the grass. KEEP ON BOPPING (4) was at his best missing a lip at Bendigo. Is holding the form and will get every chance using the low gate. SHADOW GODDESS (2) was an easy winner two-back this grade and then didn't have the best of it in 70 grade at Sandown. In good hands and expect a much better effort. THE TALKING TOFF (11) is busting to win but gets back in his races and that's been costing. Gets Yendall first time and can't be ruled out.
SELECTIONS: Backing Blood Sweat Tears.

IPSWICH: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM

HEIRBORN (3) gets the blinkers on again after a narrow defeat at this track last start. Fitter again and Ryan Maloney sticks. Appears the one to beat. LARMOUR (5) finished 6L away at the Gold Coast just six days ago. Gets in well at the weights. Has the figures to go close in this. SKAGERAK (6) finished a narrow third over this track and distance last start at big odds. Jim Byrne takes the ride, and from barrier three he won't be far away. SHAMANI (8) finished 1.2L back at this track last time and gets Larry Cassidy in the saddle today. Draws well and is one to keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Heirborn to win.

TAMWORTH: RACE 2 @ 1:10 PM

SYZYGY STARS (2) looked very good winning on debut before having a throw at the stumps in town and not being disgraced. Drops back to country grade here and only needs a bit of luck slotting in from the car park draw to be right in the mix. The one to beat. SEDGEMOOR (1) has been thereabouts this time in and is drawn to get a perfect run from gate one. Has placed at this track and looks a genuine contender in this field. TORNADO LIGHT (7) hasn't done much wrong with a win and a placing from her two career starts. The step-up to 1400m looks ideal and must be respected from the handy draw. JESELLIX (11) is trained on course and gets 2kg off with the claim. In the mix. TRIANGULUM (6) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Syzygy Stars to win.
