Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Gosford, Warrnambool, Northam, Sapphire Coast and Rockhampton.

GOSFORD: RACE 2 @ 2:35 PM

Looks a winnable race for OAKFIELD BLOSSOM (10). Wasn't disgraced when fourth on debut and then tried to lead all the way and just got pipped late last time out. Drawn well for A Collett in gate two and from a very good barn. Clearly the one to beat. AUREUS ANGEL (6) is facing the starter for the first time and has placed in both recent Hawkesbury trials. Gets Parr in the irons and can run a race on debut. LESSING (8) was a touch disappointing first-up but did put together three consecutive placings before the spell. In the mix. GALBALAN (1) is trained on course and can earn some minor money. Former star hoop Jim Cassidy is in the ownership of NOTABADBET (3) and is best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.
SELECTIONS: Oakfield Blossom to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 2 @ 1:50 PM

LOST IMPACT (7) was heavily-bet winning her only start last preparation over 1800m. Was beaten 2L at Kyneton first up the same when just in the market and will be much better today. She finds a winnable assignment. ADONIS KICK (4) was wide the latest but was beaten 1L at Sale prior. Comes back in grade and should go close. BRAWL (2) has been threatening at the mile. Forget the latest when slow off and wide. Expect the longer journey to suit. HOSTAR (1) has been racing at much better level and will be better back in trip. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Lost Impact.

SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 3 @ 2:55 PM

ONE AYE (4) is a nice type with a good record (9:4-1) that is drawn to figure. She resumes from a spell (143 days) and she has won first-up before (3:1-0). Following three consecutive second placings, CANZONET (6) won the Mollymook Cup last start, beating home some nice horses in the process. This is harder but he loves to run a place (22:2-9). GORUSH LIGHTNING (3) was a back-to-back winner prior to running 4th in a tougher race. He is a quality gelding and if rain comes, he would be the on-top pick. Following a spell (108 days), RAPIDITY (7) has won twice from four starts, finishing 3rd and 4th on the other two occasions. She steps ups in class here but she looks capable. AKEED (2) can handle this class of racing and is fresh off a nice 3rd placing. He draws awkwardly but he can figure.
SELECTIONS: One Aye to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 4:12 PM

VILLA VILLEKULLA (1) Is a former Victorian back after 84 days for the new barn. He impressed before the break when just missing in stronger than this. He's trialled-well and should position handy from the rail. This is winnable and the betting will tell the story. ANTAGONISER (4) is also ex VIC and was just nudged out here first-up for the new stable. He's improved and the longer sprint suits. Gets 3kg weight relief in stronger grade and fitter rates the danger. BOLD HUNTER (2) was beaten 1L here in stronger before being out-graded at Eagle Farm. He can bounce back into the placings. GAIUS JULIUS (6) has been racing well at lesser venues. Can make the board drawn low with the 2kg claim.
SELECTIONS: Backing Villa Villekulla.
