Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Wyong, Cairns, Gawler and Northam.

WYONG: RACE 1 @ 12:25 PM

ROCKAMO (2) has been gelded and is making his Australian debut. Was not far off in his two New Zealand appearances and comes into this with a nice Muswellbrook trial under his belt. Top selection. EM CEE GEE (3) is ready to break though today after getting home nicely into third at Gosford a fortnight ago. Gets in well at the weights with the apprentice claiming 3kg and drawn to advantage. Key challenger. RUBIELIE (7) was knocking on the door last prep snaring two close minor placings from her four runs. Returns at a suitable distance and has placed when fresh in the past. Don't dismiss. FANTASTIC FILLE (4) hit the line well last start and returns to a course she has placed at before. Each way hope.
SELECTIONS: Rockamo to win.

CAIRNS: RACE 5 @ 3:05 PM

TENNESSEE BOY (5) has been racing in Open grade as favourite and missed a whisker twice before a plainer run here the latest. The shorter sprint should advantage and he rates to be winning. COASTAL BOY (3) wouldn't make the hat-trick racing at Townsville but didn't get the best of it. Peaks now and is suited back home. Gets a 2kg claim and can bounce back into the finish. BATTLE CRY (2) is better than the last two runs suggest. Back to the shorter sprint can generate improvement. DREAM I CAN (4) has been knocking on the door and is in the mix using the low gate.
SELECTIONS: Going with Tennessee Boy.

GAWLER: RACE 6 @ 3:05 PM

CHEVITE (4) led and won the 54 here first-up by 4.3L as the market expected. He's been save for this from a winnable race at Balaklava and he can go right on with it with the leading rider using the low gate. CIBACHROME (10) missed a lip on the heavy at Bordertown before a plain run at Murray Bridge. He gets a handy 3kg claim today and pushing forward can make the finish. RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE (11) resumed in good order and has more to offer. Fitter he won't be far away. ASTON RAPOVA (2) resumes with a number if gear changes. Usually needs a run but has ability and is worth a look drawn to advantage.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Chevite.

NORTHAM: RACE 4 @ 3:13 PM

AGENT KENSINGTON (2) threatened last preparation and was just nudged out here first-up. Gets Harvey for Chris Parnham and fitter looks well-placed to go one better. Parnham sticks with TALKABOUTYOU (6) resuming off a 1L defeat in an Ascot Open 2. Is sure to have come on and owns a Belmont trial win. Is fast enough to manage the sticky gate and is feared. HOT TONIC (3) resumed in town on the heavy and had good support. Keeps the 3kg claim and gets the blinkers applied first time. Quick improvement is likely. FOR OUR NIC (1) resumes off a trial win and the late market should be monitored.
SELECTIONS: Going with Agent Kensington on what we've seen.
