Star sprinter Lim's Cruiser appears well placed to make a winning return when set to contest the seventh event this evening.

First up since his seventh placing in the Group 1 Hong Kong Sprint [1200m], Lim's Cruiser has been prepped up with three trials and appears in fine fettle.

In 18 starts in Singapore, he has won eight and on best form he is by far and away the best sprinter in Singapore.

Rated 112 by Timeform, he holds a distinct class edge and appears very well placed under the set-weights conditions of the Group 3 Rocket Man Sprint [1200m].

While unable to feature in Hong Kong, he certainly didn't disgraced himself and was only beaten 3.5L.

Returning a rating of 111, he ran his number and if able to run up to that level of form tonight, he should prove very hard to hold out.

Lim's Cruiser has only tasted defeat once at this course and distance (4-1-5), which came at his second start in Singapore, when second behind Conilad.

He races very well fresh and has drawn to receive all the favours for Troy See.

At his best when ridden quiet, expect See to put him asleep before producing him in the straight.

The Shane Baertschiger trained Bold Thruster ensures they will roll along, playing right into the hands of Lim's Cruiser.

With his even share of luck, he should prove very hard to hold out.

Emerging star Bold Thruster faces his stiffest test, but gets his chance to stamp himself as one of the best sprinters in Singapore.

A winner of five of his seven starts, Bold Thruster returned with a bang, when scoring narrowly in the Group 3 Singapore 3YO Sprint [1200m].

The Michael Clements trained Top Knight surged at him late, but Bold Thruster did enough to just hold on.

Marked just shy of his peak, he remains open to good improvement second up and appears very well placed down in the weights.

No question this is not easy, however on adjusted speed figures, he is more than up to this and should give them all something to gun down.

The Cliff Brown trained Zac Kasa won well fresh before game in defeat last start when a close third behind Aramco.

Kept ticking over with a nice trial win last Tuesday, he should be nearing his peak third up and he too has drawn to get a lovely run.

Of the rest, stablemate Mister Yeoh appears the next in line.

A winner of four of his 11 starts, he is more than capable on best form and should be strong late.

Good luck and happy punting.
