Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on July 10.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Grafton, Warwick Farm, Sandown, Doomben, Belmont & Morphettville.
Warwick Farm: Race 3 @ 2:00pm
Lashes should ping to the front and dictate. LASHES (4) returned in great order last start, shadowing Sir Elton all the way over this trip at Wyong but unable to lay a candle to that promising sprinter who won again in town last Saturday. Clocked an impressive final split that day and if she can repeat that performance she should be very hard to reel in. The promising BLACK MAGNUM (3) finds a nice race first up. Was runner up to good filly Bare Naked Lady first up last prep then went on to win well over this distance at Hawkesbury second up. Two very good trials leading into this so expect him to be forward enough to give the top pick a fright. TRANSMITTER (5) was a fair effort to finish 6th over 1200m at Rosehill a couple of Saturdays back. In the mix back at the mid-weekers. WANDER (2) could run a bit of a race first up. SELECTIONS: #4 Lashes to frank the Sir Elton form.

Morphettville: Race 4 @ 2:25pm
WESTPORT (9) was backed as if unbeatable latest and scored comfortably. Has good upside. IT'S A MYTH (1) made a long run to score in this class latest. Claim helps and looks the main danger. ARCTIC BLAZE (4) goes well second up and definite winning hope. Rates well enough. MISSCINO (3) was good latest and should be ready to win now. UNSCOPEABLE (6) is next best. SELECTIONS: Westport is a filly with promise.
Grafton: Race 7 @ 4:00pm
A sizzling pace anticipated with Whypeeo from a wide gate charging over to look for the fence. The Ramornie is an open race as always. TOP STRIKER (9) was back in winning form last start, making a mighty run from near the tail of the field to get up and score at Rosehill over 1100m in heavy going. Draws a better gate so should settle a couple of pairs closer this time and he is going to be very hard to hold out on the limit weight. The class runner is CARE TO THINK (1) who resumes from a 29-week spell. Had just two runs when last in work and failed to fire. Before that had won 2/4 when fresh and a couple of strong recent trials suggest he is on target. HAUNTED (6) has been freshened up and loves this going. G3 placegetter who looks well in with just a kilo over the limit. SNOOPY (7) goes very well when fresh and has been set specifically for this race. SELECTIONS: #9 Top Striker looks tremendous value at double-figure odds.
Doomben: Race 9 @ 4:05pm
Ready Set Boom can cross over and lead and there will be a number on her tail. CHURNING (4) was close-up in Listed company and after was beaten 1.3L this grade both at this venue. Gets Lloyd today and deserves the win. CYBER ATTACK (1) is a well performed Kiwi who has met trouble her two runs in Brisbane. Needs a good ride, but is a wet-tracker who could win this with the claim and not surprise. ENTERPRISE LOUISE (5) has placed the last three and is sure to be around the mark again. PLUMARO (3) peaks and is worth consideration. SELECTIONS: Churning is a bet at the each way odds.
Belmont: Race 6 @ 4:25pm (AEDT)
There is early pace across the barriers and a number are capable of leading. DECEPTION GAME (1) showed good ability the initial campaign and then wasn’t too far away resuming here in a bit stronger after meeting some trouble. Gets the handy 2kg claim and he looks capable of surprising. SNOWCHINO (3) will race handy and just missed here 3rd up from the front also in stronger. She peaks and is a danger. HALAKAL (2) seeks the hat-trick and keeps improving. This is stronger but He will use the rail and the claimer sticks. CHAMPAGNE GAL (10) gets the winkers again and Pike for the 3rd up run and she can improve. SELECTIONS: A throw at the stumps with #1 Deception Game at the double each way odds.
