Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Goulburn, Scone, Geelong, Ipswich & Carnarvon.

Scone: Race 1 @ 12:15pm

Not a great deal of pressure for Emperor's Star who will control the race in front. EMPEROR'S STAR (12) has raced up on the pace and battled on well to finish in the placings at both career starts, over 900m then 1000m at Muswellbrook. Taking on older horses today as she did last time. Should ping straight to the lead with the blinkers on today and it will take a big effort to catch her. MR POLAR (11) was unwanted in the betting on debut but did find the line well to clock-in 3rd over this distance at Newcastle. Finds an easier maiden today and can improve enough to give the top pick a run for her money. Kris Lees' debutante ILLECEBROUS (13) won a recent Muswellbrook trial and looks ready to run well. AYTOBE (1) next best first up from a spell.  SELECTIONS: #12 Emperor's Star to be too quick for these.

Goulburn: Race 7 @ 3:40pm

C'est La Vie will inject some early pace into the contest. This looks a nice race for C'EST LA VIE (8) third up from a spell. Battled on well for 3rd when resuming over 1280m at Muswellbrook then led into the lane but was out-sprinted in a much tougher maiden over 1150m at the Kensington track last time. Better placed out to seven furlongs at this stage and with the claim is thrown in at the weights. KATATONIC (3) found the line well without threatening to grab 3rd over 1280m on the Canberra Acton track nine days ago. Very fit gelding who looks ready for a crack at this distance now. LAINO (4) lost his good early position then made some inroads in the straight when resuming over this trip at Newcastle recently. Capable of sharp improvement second up. TULE MIST (11) is one to watch first up. SELECTIONS: #8 C'est La Vie to score in this far more suitable race.

Geelong: Race 7 @ 4:00pm

Credible Witness can lead from Mialign. MAKE IT COUNT (1) is promising and can make the hat-trick third up.  He’s has a 52 day freshen and the well-bred galloper gets the claim. ALL TOO HANDY (11) also won the latest making it 2/3 this preparation. He’s got upside and presents as the danger. CREDIBLE WITNESS (4) has missed a lip both runs back the latest as favourite. He will use the low gate and this is his chance to break a winning drought. PRINCE OF VENICE (3) got a lot closer the latest and is in the mix. SELECTIONS: Sticking with # 1 Make It Count to win. Others to consider are the resumers: #4 I Am Eloquent in Race 1 and # 10 Taarank in Race 3.

Carnarvon: Race 7 @ at 7:55pm

Regal Honour can lead from Faralon. BOLD VICTORY (4) brings three city runs and didn’t have much luck the latest. He wasn’t far away at Belmont three back and he can turn the form around in this grade. BROTHER RAND (5) improved winning this grade up to the mile. He will use the rail and has to be considered again. BALMONT STUNNER (1) has missed a lip the last two and was wide the latest. The 3kg claim advantages and no surprise if he goes one better. ESPRESSO LASS (7) is also a hope with a repeat of the latest.  SELECTIONS: Keen on # 4 Bold Victory.
