Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Monday at Moruya, Townsville & Bairnsdale.

Moruya: Race 6 at 3:55pm

Cadence will push forward and gets the opportunity to lead. CADENCE (6) resumes in good order and then found one too good at Canberra. She’s ready to win and looks to have found the right race. ILVERMORNY (1) was tracking well before the flat third-up run. Peaks now and expect him to bounce and go close. MOGARTO (8) has been settling back, but has been threatening the last three and has to be considered with the blinkers applied first time. MONSTROSITY (3) also gets the blinkers first time and deserves consideration in an easier Maiden. SELECTIONS: #6 Cadence comes to peak and this suits.

Townsville: Race 2 @ 2:25pm

Hard to identify a leader in a low-pressure affair. UP THE RIVER (2) returned from a three-month spell with a barnstorming 2nd over 1000m at this track last start. Will race a lot closer in the smaller field over an extra 200m today and is sure to prove hard to hold out. CRAIGLEA LIZZY (4) made it nine minor placings from 12 starts when she worked home well without threatening into 2nd place over 1000m here last time out. Probably box-seats out of the inside alley and is certain to be about the money again. VAMPARINA (10) backs up seven days after a plain effort over 1300m at Mackay. Has had plenty of chances but worth a place ticket. TOSCAVALE ROAD (6) was a fair effort when 4th over 1000m here recently. Each-way claims with the step up in distance. SELECTIONS: #2 Up The River looks a nice bet.

Wangaratta: Race 5 @ 3:30pm

Hapaira can lead and there will be a few on her tail. HAPAIRA (4) led and won by a space on debut, and then was beaten 1L at Moe heavily backed, before winning again by a space when deep in the red.  She promising and can keep things rolling. YELDARB (1) won easily first up and then was unlucky before delivering again at Wodonga coming home hard. The rail doesn’t suit, but he will be hitting the line again. BOBBY ROCKS (8) will use the low gate and brings strong from the synthetic. She can make the finish. HAIL THE HERO (5) comes back in trip but is racing well enough to fill a slot.  SELECTIONS: #4 Hapaira has plenty of upside.
