Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 8.
Two TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Goulburn & Donald.
Donald: Race 5 @ 3:30pm
No designated leader. Bronski Girl is one that will race close-up. BRONSKI GIRL (3) won the Maiden easily third-up getting back to the grass and looks well-placed to build on that. He will have come on and should have no problem pushing forward. DASH OF PASH (1) ran the same figure as the above just missing first up at Geelong and Yendall sticks. He will be looking to use the rail but has been finding it hard to win. CHAMPAGNE PEARL (2) peaks now and will be around the mark. PRIVATE PROFIT (6) got closer the latest and may be next best. SELECTIONS: #3 Bronski Girl gets the form hoop and can go on with it for the sharp yard.

Goulburn: Race 7 @ 4:50pm
First Responder has the pace to lead from Cops And Robbers and Gunzar. BIG BAD BRUCE (1) resumed from a five-month spell with a tidy 3rd over 1100m at Wyong, working home in good fashion from worse then midfield on the bend. Fitter today, draws well, and is suited by the extra trip so this looks his chance to finally break through. DANAAT (11) is a Toronado filly on debut for Team Hawkes and certainly worth close attention. Won a recent Rosehill trial so appears ready to run well. FIRST RESPONDER (14) raced on the speed and boxed on fairly to finish 4th when resuming over 1000m at Orange recently. Wasn't disgraced when he tackled some very smart types as a juvenile. Winning chance if he puts it together. STOCKMAN (8) will be better over more ground but is nicely related and worth considering on debut for Joe Pride. SELECTIONS: #1 Big Bad Bruce each-way all day.
