Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Kensington, Bendigo, Ipswich, Bunbury & Balaklava.

Randwick-Kensington: Race 2 @ 2:00pm

Expect they will scoot along at a good clip but there are too many first starters to be making map predictions. The $2 million yearling FARETTI (4) was well-supported in the Silver Slipper in February at his only race start but didn't handle the heavy going and finished next to last. Has won three trials since 12 August so looks well and truly tuned up for a big return. Heading for some Stakes races so expect him to be too good in this company. DOWN TO EARTH (8) was coming off a two-month break and lining up for just the second time when an even 4th over this course and distance last Wednesday. Fitter for that run so he is a likely improver. AXE (1) is a Written Tycoon colt on debut for Bjorn Baker. Went nicely when 3rd in a recent Rosehill trial. Respect any market confidence. WARP SPEED (6) is a half-brother to Derby winner Nom Du Jeu on debut for Team Hawkes. Defeated Axe in that Rosehill trial last Tuesday. Might be better over more ground eventually but keep him safe while fresh. SELECTIONS: #4 Faretti is ready to win first up.

Bendigo: Race 5 @ 3:20pm

Pace across the barriers with Winsome Voyage the likely leader. ROYALTY (6) missed a nose on debut and made a ratings spike winning the Maiden here as favourite. He looks very promising and gets the blinkers first time with Lane booked. He can go on with it. DONE BY ME (2) is tracking well and was okay in Stakes grade the latest after being back and wide. Draws low today and she a genuine hope. GRINZINGER ALLEE (5) is an improver peaking off a solid effort at Flemington. He has to be considered. ALADAALA (3) has won the last two and can get into the  top four with the extra fitness. SELECTIONS: #6 Royalty can win and go on.

Ipswich: Race 4 @ 3:30pm

Small field but some nice types. FRANGIPANI MOON (4) is loaded with promise. Couldn't reel in Veranes at Doomben last start but her effort was full of merit. Still on the upward spiral. Lands in a perfect stalking position here and shouldn't have any excuses. Has them covered on exposed form. HOLLABACK GIRL (3) has been slightly disappointing her past couple. Still in the infancy of her career so must be given another chance. Beat the well performed Masterati at this track in August. Will look the winner at some stage. LIGREB (5) was strong from the back winning here last start. Right in contention now but this is a tougher assignment. ARDOYNE ROAD (1) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Frangipani Moon gets the nod.

Balaklava: Race 5 @ 3:35pm

Kiroshima and Lord Varys can make the speed from low gates. STAR PARFAIT (11) ran favourite here resuming a month ago and didn’t finish it off beaten 1.8L. She has plenty up the sleeve and fitter is clearly the one to beat getting a good run from the handy gate. LORD VARYS (2) got close at Mildura improving again. He may control this from the rail and peaking gets his chance. KIROSHIMA (1) was on speed missing a nose here two back and go on that. He will get every chance on the bounce. MAXIMUM HUSTLE (8) debuts with Holder riding from a handy gate. Profiles well and keep very safe.  SELECTIONS: The market suggest the debutant has ability but #11 Star Parfait will take rolling.
