There is a little more value toward the end of the Morphettville card when the fields get bigger this weekend.
A couple of our favs run in Race 8 but Tongsai Boss is far better suited getting back to the mile than going down in distance.
That is what occurred three weeks ago and he was just left flat footed on the Parks track when they sprinted.
This time is back to the mile and to the main track as he was two ago when winning with some ease.
Expecting here that he can jump well and land on the back of the speed and prove hard to get by.
The City Of Marion Stakes is a Listed race with mostly just Adelaide form as the basis.
The weight scale sees only one horse (Captain Punch) in the handicap and everything else on the limit.
The Will Clarken stable has a good record of switching horses around and targeting these sort of races. He's won this 3 of the last 6 years.
In Columbia he has a gelding with five weeks between runs off some encouraging efforts in Melbourne in the Spring.
He has a nice record fresh and you can envisage him landing around midfield then peeling wide. He gives you a sight every time.
We're hoping for a big day for Todd Pannell.
