Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on February 25.
Two TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Bendigo & Tamworth.
Tamworth: Race 5 @ 3:40pm
Binnacle from a wide gate can slide over and lead. STAR ALIBI (2) showed pleasing improvement last start at her second run back from a spell, working home powerfully to get up for 3rd over 1500m at Muswellbrook. Very smart mare who will be peaking now. QUICK SPIN (5) has raced in a couple of Highways since returning from an eight-week let-up, beaten just 1.2 lengths and 2.3 lengths in strong performances from back in the field. Doesn't win too often but with Ryan aboard today is a serious threat. GEEGEEAYE (6) made late inroads to finish 3rd in a Class 2 over the Newcastle mile recently. Won here two back. Sure to be hitting the line with gusto. SIR LEO (7) is a solid miler who will appreciate dropping back to an easier race today. SELECTIONS: #2 Star Alibi is ready to win.

Bendigo: Race 7 @ 4:30pm
They will be low flying with a few potential leaders engaged. MUIRON (10) is a promising gelding resuming from a five-month spell. Went close first up last prep at Newcastle then progressed to win his maiden over 1235m at Geelong at his most recent appearance. Drawn perfectly and is set for a big return. MISS LADYBIRD (11) led and gave a great sight before being overwhelmed late and finishing 3rd over this course and distance recently. That was her first run in 11 months so there is a stack of room for improvement. ZUPASIZE (6) was an impressive winner on debut at Warracknabeal back in August and hasn't raced since. Tough test today but clearly has promise. Big gap to the next best EL MAGNIFICENCE (7).SELECTIONS: The scratchings open it up for #10 Muiron.
