Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Port Macquarie, Pakenham, Rockhampton & Geraldton.

Pakenham: Race 6 @ 8:30pm

Mostly Sunny will cross over and gets the opportunity to lead. MOSTLY SUNNY (8) just found one too good on debut and then raced handy again winning the Maiden comfortably at this trip the same venue. She is promising and looks capable of repeating. FAIRY WAND (7) led and won the Maiden well and then didn’t have the best of it late in this grade. Gets a key jockey switch to Lane and is a serious player with the extra fitness. FUDGED (2) won easily here and then was doing her best work late in stronger at Sandown. Has to be seriously considered. PHONZIA (9) deserved the Maiden win here and can build on that.  SELECTIONS: #8 Mostly Sunny impressed on the soft here the latest and can keep rolling.

Port Macquarie: Race 7 @ 4:15pm

The scratchings take most of the early pace out of this race. SENATORIAL (4) won two in a row at Taree then went to a Class 3 Highway over this trip at Randwick last start and did a great job to finish a close 3rd after being tightened up in the final stages. Draws the fence and in this easier race another win is on the cards. UP THE STAIRS (3) also contested that Randwick Highway and finished alongside Senatorial after travelling on the speed. Has placed at all three runs here - just needs a bit of luck from a wide gate to be in the finish. INTO THE OBLIVION (6) made a move before the corner then kept going to record a narrow win over 2000m at Taree recently. Drops significantly in weight after the claim - in the mix again. TRIPLE CHOICE (5) has been about the mark of late without winning. Solid each-way claims at around $16.00 in early markets.  SELECTIONS: #4 Senatorial hard to go past.
