Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Gosford, Geelong, Pakenham, Cairns & Albany.

Pakenham: Race 4 @ 7:00pm

Solid speed anticipated. THEE ONE (11) hasn't missed a placing in her three starts to date. Warm favourite here last start when very unlucky. She's got a touch of class about her and can make amends here. GROOVY KINDA LOVE (7) found the line well at Geelong most recently. Still on the up and in good hands she looms as a major threat. STEAMBOAT ROCK (4) just couldn't get past Sky Horse here a fortnight ago. Expect that form to stand-up. Nicely bred and this race is well within his reach. FLENSBURG (2) has a place chance from the low draw.  SELECTIONS: Thee One straight out.

Gosford: Race 6 @ 4:20pm

A truly run mile is on the cards as Discombe and Echo Lad roll forward. ECHO LAD (11) ran to the lead at the furlong and looked home but he peaked and was swamped late over this trip at Goulburn last start. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and it was third up last prep when this Waterhouse/Bott-trained gelding found a bit of form. Sure to offer more resistance this time. BELLE DE VEGA (10) got a long way back then made a little late ground to finish 6th over 1450m at Muswellbrook last time out. Cherry-ripe now and she is looking for the mile at this stage of the prep. CELTIC LOVE (13) hasn't won in a very long while but continues to race well. Drove hard and was beaten under a length over the mile at Kembla recently. Each-way chance again. DISCOMBE (4) led and was far too good over this trip at Tamworth last start. Invariably gives his all and will be prominent for a long way. SELECTIONS: #11 Echo Lad is excellent each-way value.

Geelong: Race 9 @ 5:00pm

Guaranteed solid tempo with a few of on-pacers lining up. LA CHEVALEE (8) settled in the second pair then sprinted quickly to register a nice first-up win over 1212m at Kyneton 20 days ago. Promising filly from a leading stable who can win again with the run of the race from the inside alley. SMITTEN (11) has been switched south by Godolphin after a couple of plain runs this time in work in NSW. Won her maiden at Echuca last prep so might be better the left-handed way. Can improve sharply. BOSS ROCK (6) came of age last prep, culminating in a maiden win at Cranbourne at the last run before spelling. Expect a bold run first up from a 21-week break. KEY TO THE MAK (7) went okay first up and is open to plenty of improvement. SELECTIONS: #8 La Chevalee looks very hard to beat in a race chopped about by scratchings.
