Warrnambool: Race 6 @ 3:05pm
EUROMAN (4) messed up the last obstacle but still surged past The Dominator to win a Pakenham steeple last start. Promising chaser who can build on that performance and looks hard to beat for a leading yard. THE DOMINATOR did all the hard work up front and wouldn't lie down when beaten a length by Euroman at Pakenham. Likely to take up the running again and will be tough to run down. HE'S A GENIUS (10) took charge a fair way from home and went on to win a restricted steeple by a big space here last start. Not raced for eight weeks, but did beat home Runaway in a trial here last week, so looks forward enough. SLOWPOKE RODRIGUEZ (2) has been going well on the flat since resuming. Ran Wells to a nose in the Australian Steeplechase last season which underlines his quality. Keep very safe. SEARAVEN (1) is a class act and cannot be left out. SELECTION: What a contest. Backing #4 Euroman each way. Like #5 Ablaze in Race 7 and #7 Runaway in Race 8, but they are too short to tip with a straight face.

Hawkesbury: Race 1 @ 11:55pm
Crown Affair may be the one to lead. LANU MOANA (6) had been going close and was heavily backed but disappointing the latest at Gosford. The near miss at Warwick Farm prior reads the best and she would win comfortably with a repeat of that level of form. SOUL PURPOSE (8) missed a half length in that Gosford contest and was good to the line after getting back. McDougall takes over from the apprentice and the well-bred filly looks a threat. CROWN AFFAIR (3) missed a lip in the same race making a ratings spike at odds and has to be considered. DAME MARGOT (5) is in the mix. SELECTION: Looks the right race for Waller's #6 Lanu Moana.

Rockhampton: Race 4 @ 2:15pm
Big field without an acknowledged leader. Jockey tactics critical. DIP DYE (16) adopted the new role of leader last start and battled on bravely to finish 2nd over 1300m at this track. Lightly raced filly who continues to improve and can go one better today with a bit of luck from the awkward gate. AZIOC (8) placed here over 1100m two runs back then had no chance last start at Mackay when the saddle shifted. On the seven-day back-up and the blinkers have been applied today. Go well. PAIBLE (11) did her best work late to finish 3rd over 1300m at this track recently. Struggling to break through but does appeal on an each-way basis. ANNMARIE (7) has found the line well in both runs this prep and is sure to be there at the business end. SELECTION: The promising #16 Dip Dye is ready to win.

Bundaberg: Race 4 @ 3:23pm
Splitz and Ten Taubada's may be the pair to run them along. TEN TAUBADA'S (5) improved again winning this grade by 3.8L as a firm favourite, and peaks seeking the hat-trick. Draws to control the race and can keep things rolling. CLOUDS (3) looked in need of it resuming in the same race and is sharp second-up. He's right up to this at best and can improve sharply at a price. SPLITZ (1) also seeks the hat-trick off the heavily-backed Roma win. He will be in the finish, but might need to find a length. GOSSIAUX (7) improved here winning from the pace and won't be far away at long odds. SELECTION: #5 Ten Taubada's peaks and can win again.
