Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Cranbourne, Stawell, Gold Coast & Geraldton.

Cranbourne: Race 8 @ 9:00pm

Good speed to close the program with Stellar Impact a bold frontrunner. Good race to close. Keen on the chances of STELLAR IMPACT (3). He's making his Victorian debut for the all conquering Waterhouse/Bott stable. Given little peace in the lead at Canterbury last start but still had the audacity to look the winner down the straight. Missed by a nose and if the rider didn't lose the whip it could've been a different outcome. Williams should rate him to perfection and this bloke is still untapped. GLOBAL SANCTION (6) has class but is clearly lacking the knockout blow. Never a winning chance behind Orleans Rock despite finishing third. Back in trip and her chances hinge on how good Stellar Impact is one would think. FLAG EDITION (5) is shooting for the hat-trick. Much harder here but both wins have been easy work. Deserves his chance. DIAMONDSANDBUBBLES (4) for the exotics. SELECTIONS: Stellar Impact is the best horse in the race. Backing to win.

Canberra: Race 1 @ 12:30pm

Echo Lad should make the lead his own. ECHO LAD (7) gets his opportunity. He's been going well without winning of late. Hit the front too soon off a wide run at Newcastle last start and was left exposed to be run down, which is exactly what happened. Back to CL1 conditions and he really needs to stand up and be counted today. No excuses. CASINO TIME (6) is racing well for Gratz Vella. Past couple when placing have been terrific. Lost sight of the bunny at Albury last time out but his closing sectionals were terrific. Week turnaround and a query at the trip are some negatives but with the same application to what he's been going recently and he's going to be in the finish. OUTAHAND (3) is still on the up. Bounced back to form with a strong placing over the mile here last start. Gives the impression the 2000m will suit. Will be presented with his chance down the outside. STREET CRED (5) has a plain winning strike rate. Solid without threatening here most recently but the severe increase in trip is a negative. SELECTIONS: D-day for Echo Lad.

Coffs Harbour: Race 4 @ 1:55pm

Ramrod probably leads but the pace won't be all that strong. A MILLION DREAMS (1) hit the lead and looked the winner at the furlong only to be nailed on the line at the end of a 1400m Class 2 at this track last start. Won on soft ground and placed on heavy ground in Sydney in previous preps when trained by Gary Portelli. Consistent gelding who gets his chance back in the right grade today. LADY WAHOO (7) closed well but was no match for the tearaway Salsa Dreaming over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Racing well but is a perennial placegetter. Each-way the best option. FLYING EUROS (12) has started warm favourite at his last two starts but failed to deliver, the latest effort at Murwillumbah a pretty plain effort. Fitter and draws a good gate for the first time in a while so worth one more chance. Looks a race in three, with RAMROD (10) the pick of the others. SELECTIONS: Keen on #1 A Million Dreams.
