Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Bathurst, Gosford, Ballarat, Cairns & Belmont.

Ballarat: Race 6 @ 3:30pm

Stoney Vista looks the likely leader. ZOUNIQUE (3) resumes seeking the hat-trick and just missed running on strongly. This longer trip suits and he has more to give. He’s promising and Stackhouse takes over from the apprentice. BATTLE MASTER (7) has had one blip in a string of strong efforts and placed the latest this grade on the Pakenham synthetic. He’s a genuine chance again. KIPKETER (2) brings strong form to peak and found one much too good the latest covering the others. Gets another chance, but note Stackhouse gets off. RUNBRO (6) spoils things with slow starts, but is much better then the last two runs indicate. A sharper run is on the cards.  SELECTIONS: #3 Zounique can win this and go on.

Gosford: Race 2 @ 1:10pm

Princess Sunlight should work across from the deep. PRINCESS SUNLIGHT (3) resumes from a break. She's trialled sharply on two occasions in readiness for this. Her race form from last preparation was also very good. All things point to a bold performance from the daughter of Time For War. She may be too nippy for this lot. ARCHERY BUTTS (1) has been gelded. Two runs in Victoria last time in were sound. He was in the market behind the likes of Sebrakate & Sizzlefly, which is an indication people know he has ability. Big watch. HONEY GO LIGHTLY (5) has been down the track in both career runs at Randwick. Bound to find this easier and she's trialled well. KEY LARGO (2) best of the remainder. SELECTIONS: Princess Sunlight gets the nod.

Belmont: Race 1 @ 2:15pm AEDT

SATURDAY SUN (6) has just missed the last four and did a huge job resuming when storming home from the back. Expect him to be right on the speed today and he should break through. BOSNIPP (11) finished alongside the above in that race on debut, racing handy. Raced a well-supported favourite following two trial wins and is a live chance again. THE ANVIL (5) debuts and has won his last two trials by a space. Gets the blinkers and watch the market very closely with him. RAPID TRANSIT (2) resumes and should be improved. Draws well and has won a trial here in preparation. SELECTIONS: #6 Saturday Sun sets a decent standard.
