Sunshine Coast: Race 2 @ 3.14pm
Magic Delta should have no trouble leading this small field. HANCORA FIELD (1) will be hard to beat first up from a 14-week spell. Opened last prep with a good 2nd over 900m at the Gold Coast then won two straight in dominant fashion before the form tapered. Classy enough to take care of these. MAGIC DELTA (5) started at a very short quote and got the job done when resuming over 900m at the Gold Coast last start. Promising filly who goes fast and will be tough to reel in. READY TO BOLT (2) is another last start winner who led all the way and scrambled home over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Coming back in distance shouldn't be a bother. Likely to run well. JUST A PATSY (4) on debut is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on #1 Hancora Field. SELECTION: Keen on #1 Hancora Field.

Hobart: Race 3 @ 1:15pm
Apriano and Dark Wanderer can make the speed. RUETTIGER (1) resumes for the hot yard seeking the hat-trick at this level. He owns a trial win this track and has a commanding first-up record. He's the one to beat. THE MASTER SPEED (4) has been racing in Melbourne and is much better than the formline suggests. Gets in light with the 3kg claim and will race close-up and has to be kept very safe. APRIANO (5) is fast and will be better for the first-up run. He's on the 7-day return, with plenty of weight relief, and will take passing. DARK WANDERER (8) also runs along and resumes again bringing two fresh-up wins. This is much tougher, but he has upside. SELECTION: Expecting #1 Ruettiger to keep the wins rolling.

Wagga: Race 6 @ 4:00pm
PLEASANT (1) has a crisp overall record. Ducked across to SA last start and held his own after giving some cheek on the pace. He's been freshened for this. Schiller has a nice affinity with him. Ticks all the right boxes. RAFHA'S CHOICE (4) is hit and miss with his efforts. Will need luck from the deep alley but has enough tactical speed to give this a shake. Last 100m is his problem. REAL KEY (5) was rewarded for his consistency at Wagga last start. He's an honest type in these sorts of races and should be respected once again. FLASH FIBIAN (3) was better last start. Not sure the drop back in trip helps but he has the class. FOREVER NEWYORK (6) next in line. SELECTION: #1 Pleasant gets the nod.

Warren: Race 6 @ 4:45pm
Good battle for the early lead. BEN SHOOF (4) can go on with the job. Fought hard when there to be beaten last start at Tamworth, prevailing by a head. Well-placed back to a BM50 and is clearly the testing material. GORN HOFF (5) poses a threat with Greg Ryan in the saddle. Hit and miss with his form but he was solid last start at Dubbo. Subsequently freshened and should have plenty of admirers. CLEVER MISSILE (3) off a last start placing is in the mix. SELECTION: #4 Ben Shoof gets the nod.
