Today’s Horse Racing Tips – 6th July 2020

3 minute read

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for July 6.

Racing at Wagga.

Wagga: Race 4 @ 2:15pm
A few race handy but it's not clear-cut the lead. An open race. ONYA MARKS (3) has been threatening to win and this is the easiest grade she has contested for a while. She will get a soft run and with the handy 2kg claim gets the chance to break a winning drought at good odds. WAR BLUES (7) impressed missing a lip here two back and then placed again the same venue and didn't have the best of it in stronger than this. He draws wide again but should go close. SNOWBROOK (12) was much too good winning this grade at Gundagai. That stacks right up and she will have plenty of admirers drawn low. CRIMSON HOFFA (1) returned in good order this venue and can build on that. The big weight and gate will test however. SELECTION: #3 Onya Marks was better the latest and looks an each way hope on that.

Warracknabeal: Race 3 @ 1.30pm

Dirty Diary to run them along at a solid clip. DIRTY DIARY (1) showed good early pace, found the lead in the lane, then stuck on well once headed to finish 3rd on debut over this trip at Echuca last start. Winning chance if he exhibits the expected natural improvement. STELLAR WITNESS (7) resumes from a four-month spell. Didn't come up last prep but showed ability in the maiden campaign with 2/2 minor placings at this trip. Perfectly drawn so a big return is on the cards. WARROWIE ROSE (9) caught the eye when she flashed home into 2nd over this distance at Swan Hill recently. Again has to go back from a wide draw but can put in another big finish as she hits peak fitness this afternoon. HE'S ALL READY (3) recorded his sixth minor placing from ten starts when a closing 3rd over this trip at Swan Hill recently. Genuine gelding who has drawn nicely - each-way prospects. SELECTION: This sets up nicely for #1 Dirty Diary.

Moree: Race 4 @ 2:35pm
There's speed right across the barriers with Disco Mo and Samphire Hoe candidates to lead. LIBERTY HEAD (3) improved again just missing at Scone and then didn't have the best of it at Tamworth. He draws out but rates the one to beat off a brief freshen. BOUWMEESTER (10) will use the low gate and improved sharply at Grafton missing a lip from the speed. It's been a while between drinks, but he gets his chance at odds getting in light with the 3kg claim. DISCO MO (2) was heavily-bet winning the Maiden at Moree from the speed and best to forgive the one after in an Open 3 back to a short sprint. He's been freshened and will go a lot better. QUEEN'S SONG (8) is another of the multiple Sinclair runners with a chance. She's ready to win but the wide gate makes it tougher. SELECTION: This looks the right race for #3 Liberty Head.
