Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Dubbo, Taree, Geelong & Rockhampton.

Geelong Race 5 @ 2:30pm

Grindelwald can make the speed and there's a few others capable of sitting handy. OZONE (5) peaks and has placed three of the last four. He hasn't been having much luck and has been hitting the line well. He will need a good ride again but is a decent each way hope. GRINDELWALD (1) can win this at best and will be better for the first-up run. He missed a lip at Canterbury on debut and has the speed to manage the wide gate. Melham goes on and expect sharp improvement. LUNCHTIME RED (4) improved again missing a lip at Bendigo hitting the line from midfield. He also gets a sticky gate, but Rodd sticks and will give him every chance. TIMBER TOP (6) made a ratings spike at Cranbourne and that stacks right up. Keep him well onside drawn to advantage. SELECTIONS: #5 Ozone looks a bet at the healthy each-way quote.

Taree: Race 4 @ 2:10pm

Expecting a genuine speed. DODECANESE (3) was a terrific winner first-up at Scone. Heavily supported post jumptime and after getting a long way back in the run it took a mighty effort for him to be able to reel them in. In for a good campaign. If he hasn't taken a backward step from that effort then he appears the testing material once again. BOOM QUEEN (2) hasn't done much winning in her career thus far. Usual honest effort behind In A Step here last start. Drawn awkwardly again but should be strong late. INVINCIBLE KISS (1) was run off her legs by Spaceboy in town last start. Winning strike rate is average but this is the easiest race she's contested in some time. SPARKS (5) for the exotics. SELECTIONS: Dodecanese to win again.

Dubbo: Race 5 @ 2:25pm

Good speed engaged. ZABERFELDIE (2) was due to run in town on Wednesday but that meeting was Abandoned. He's been a model of consistency all preparation. Chased in vain behind a smart one at Albury last start, who franked the form finishing second in last weekend's Highway. Deserves another win and should get every opportunity. MR PLOW (1) presents as a danger on best form. Beaten out of sight last start at Scone but happy to look around that. Provincial competitive beforehand and can hit back in a big way. THE SLEDGEHAMMER (3) with winning form can't be overlooked. Stable going well and he'll have last shot at these down the outside. SOVIET (5) for the multiples. SELECTIONS: Zaberfeldie gets the nod.

Rockhampton: Race 9 @ 5:00pm

There's speed right across the barriers with three or four capable of leading the big sprint. MASTER JAMIE (3) won twice at Eagle Farm before the spell and then was heavily-bet here on resumption missing a nose from the front. Things didn't work out after that at Eagle Farm and he peaks today with a big weight drop. He will clear the tricky gate easily and is the one they have to peg back. INQUIRY (1) also has the speed to manage the wide gate and made it two wins from the last three in Listed grade at Doomben. He's a decent chance to repeat. RAIDEN (2) has had one near-miss around a string of wins and the latest was his best. He's well in the mix with the weight relief. DOCTOR ZOUS (11) will be right in it at best and go on the all-the-way win first-up at Doomben. He had excuses there the latest and gets the handy gate and blinkers again. SELECTIONS: #3 Master Jamie looks to have an edge.
