Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Coffs Harbour, Kyneton, Cairns & Northam.

Kyneton: Race 7 @ 4:30pm

Looks a strong tempo with Shorthand and Asphidian leading the charge. LANI BANG BANG (2) resumes off the Maiden win and just missed on the synthetic prior on debut. She shapes as a promising galloper and no surprise to see her taking this out. SHORTHAND (4) raced favourite and was too good on debut running along. In good hands and has a future. Fitter she looks up to repeating. KRISPY KEV (1) is also a last start Maiden winner and did it comfortably. Placed here prior and is a player riding the speed from the low gate. STAR SELECTION (5) resumes again and may prove next best if presented forward.  SELECTIONS: Expecting #2 Lani Bang Bang to have an edge if presented on-song.

Cairns: Race 7 @ 6:05pm

Ginger Beer and Tawhiri will be prominent from the jump. GINGER BEER (1) was beaten a lip here resuming this trip as favourite and is improved. He may control the race from the rail and fitter clearly rates to go one better. TAWHIRI (3) found open grade too tough at Townsville but the win and placing prior over 1200m stack up. Draws well but has to manage the drop to a shorter sprint. COOL ATTITUDE (5) is racing well at the non-tabs and is capable of making the finish. ASHTON BLAIR (2) is ex NSW back after 61 days for the new yard off the provincials and is worth keeping safe. CHEVAUX (4) resumes and has won fresh. Keep an eye on the market with him too. SELECTIONS: #1 Ginger Beer should have then covered.

Northam: Race 5 @ 6:55pm

Solid tempo with Trevern making the speed. TREVERN (3) can control the race and is ready to win off the two placings including the lip defeat at Ascot. Draws well and the shorter sprint will suit. DELLARAAJ (7) resumes with the blinkers applied first time. Goes fresh and she's had two trial warmers and will get a soft run from the rail. RIP AND SNIP (5) did enough on debut to say he can make the finish with the extra fitness. ISOPODA (4) resumes and is up to this. The market will indicate his readiness. SELECTIONS: #3 Trevern has more to offer and appeals.
