Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Wyong, Sandown, Moe,  Townsville, Oakbank, Ascot & Launceston.

SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 8 @ 7:30 PM

EXCELIDA (1) looks like a good chance to end the day. Had to cover a lot of extra ground at Caulfield last start and still finished not far off the winner. NEED NEW FRIENDS (6) is at the right stage of the prep to run a good race. Kept on well also at Caulfield last start. GOOLAGONG ROSE (8) won here a fortnight ago. Sticks to the 1300 metres and the stables in form. Might want to forget the last outing of DON'TTELLTHEBOSS (3). There might be a few going better right now but include in exotics. TYCOON BELLA (9) keeps the blinkers on and could improve. Another one with a place shot. BEL MY PAGO (2) is first-up and makes it's Melbourne debut. Smart stable but might need the outing. Wider place chance. SELECTIONS: Excelida the win.

MOE: RACE 3 @ 2:05 PM

COP A CLIP (1) didn't handle the wet going last start at Stony Creek but still places at short odds. Firmer ground will help today and rates as a one of the main chances on the day. SEABOARD (6) returns after a spell. Likely to need the run but has taken on harder races than this. A place chance at least. GLAMZELLE (3) went ok at Mornington first-up. May need the run again but can't be left out of calculations. The stable had an opinion of SUNSHINES (8) early on. A win can't be far off and has to be include. MAGNA AMOUR (5) is on debut and has the blinkers on straight off. Worth including in exotics. SELECTIONS: Cop A Clip the win.

 WYONG: RACE 5 @ 4:05 PM

COLONEL (3) led and won by 3L on the Randwick-Kensington and then was plain in the Rosehill 68 as equal favourite. He's has two-months away to get things sorted and gets a low gate and the winkers first time. A senior hoop is booked and sharp improvement is anticipated. QUATUM (1) led and won the Maiden easily in town on debut on the heavy and then disappointed the two after in stronger than this. Resumes off two city trial wins and is obviously back on track. Promising and McEvoy rides first time. GO FOR GOLD (4) will build on the first-up Maiden win this venue and draws for another soft on-pace run. UNEARTHED (5) and IRISH THUNDER (8) both resume for Kris Lees and are worth a look. SELECTIONS: Colonel each-way may provide the betting edge against the favourite.

OAKBANK: RACE 4 @ 3:30 PM

GLORY GAME (3) was too smart for Picargo at Balaklava three starts back and comes out of a stronger race at Gawler behind Four Of A Kind. Looks hard to beat here. ZOUSTORM (5) deserved his win here last time and must be given each-way appeal again. DOUBLE BLUE (2) scored a soft Morphettville win three starts back. He resumes and his jump outs have only been fair but he clearly has the ability to give this a shake. WAR CHEVAL (7) can improve from a good barrier. ROCKATANSKY (1) ran well here two starts back and has claims on that effort. SELECTIONS: Glory Game to win.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 5 @ 3:57 PM

DELAGO'S GIRL (3) just missed at Cairns at her second outing when swamped from the speed. Gets the blinkers first time and keeps Wiggins and should be winning fitter and drawn handy. SMITHY'S HAMMER (2) also has his third run and was only beaten 1.6L here over 1000m. The claim remains handy but the gate is against. APOLLINE (5) also draws wide but was well in the market on debut and disappointed. Has been away along time but gets the blinkers first time and requires a betting watch. READY BETTY (8) led and placed two-back at Kilcoy and is in the mix with a repeat of that. SELECTIONS: Keen on Delago's Girl.

ASCOT: RACE 7 @ 5:40 PM

PRIZED MISS (10) recorded a smart win at decent grade on debut for the leading Pike-Williams linkage. Had been well trialled and he can improve and make it a double. IRRITABLE RODNEE (2) has the ability and will be better for the first-up run as favourite. Came off a big trial win and won his only second-up run. Gets the blinkers first time and should have the speed to manage the wide gate. PRECAUTIONARY (6) is better than the formline suggests and he won't be far away using the kind barrier. JAY DEE (8) will also push forward and is in the mix reaching peak fitness. SELECTIONS: Prized Miss is sure to take beating.
