WYONG: RACE 1 @ 1:15 PM
Looks a match-race between ENAMOUR (4) and GISELLE ANNE (6). ENAMOUR (4) is trained on the track and gets the benefit of Jones' 3kg claim. Has had three goes here for two placings. GISELLE ANNE (6) has done everything but win in her 19 starts to date. Meets a weaker field and this may be her turn. TAIKUN (3) is a long way back in third. Watch first-starter FIGHTING DUCK (5) with SHEZUNREAL (8) the best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Quinella: Enamour and Giselle Anne.

GEELONG: RACE 5 @ 3:45 PM
MAHASHAKTI (4) is lightly raced and progressing nicely. He won his Maiden in good fashion at this track last start when racing close to the speed. He can take up a handy position again here from the inside draw in a race that lacks speed on paper. The extra trip should suit and he may have more upside than his rivals. SILK JACKET (8) disappointed when up in grade last start but broke a string of placings when notching an overdue Maiden win the start prior beating Miletus who won his next start by seven lengths. He's worth another chance here. MAJOR GOWEN (2) wasn't far away in town last start and has to be respected back to this grade. GUNSABLAZIN' (6) has been close up at his past two starts, both in town and is well placed here from a good draw. Include. PURRFECT SCENT (7) is worth including back on top of the ground. SELECTIONS: Mahashakti looks one of the better bets on the card.
GRAFTON: RACE 6 @ 4:40 PM
PLONKA (3) makes his resumption. He's an impressive horse in this neck of the woods. Three runs last campaign, all at city level, were creditable efforts. Fresh form is outstanding. Looks a cut above this lot as he heads on a Country Championships path. ALL STAND (1) is a winner of ten races so shouldn't be discounted. Warwick Farm effort last start was respectable. He's used to carrying big weights in the bush (63kg today after claim) and expect a forward showing from him third-up. Blinkers first time and he does look a real blinker horse. GOLD RHAPSODY (9) had his chance when a beaten favourite at Ballina three weeks ago but his second-up statistics bring her into contention. Kehoe knows her well and she's drawn for a lovely run. Chance. BUGALUGS (4) will make his own luck on the speed. He's back to 1000m and will run along at express pace. PATRIOT (6) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Backing Plonka to win.
SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 7 @ 4:45 PM
TEST OF WAR (11) has the form on the board this preparation. Just beaten by Chivargo this track/distance three weeks ago. He's got the benefit of race fitness on a few key rivals and that stands him with an advantage. In the right hands and is expected to take plenty of beating on the speed. DOLLAREURO (7) is a talent. He won two straight before failing in a CL3 in town. Stable have taken their time with this son of Eurozone. He's been tearing up the turf at the trials, indicating that he's ready to fire. OCTAVIAN (5) will cut all the corners from the inside gate. Races best when ridden on the speed and anywhere near his best should see him be competitive. DIXON BAY (1) is smart but this is a challenging first-up assignment. Watch the market. SELECTIONS: Test Of War for the win.
GERALDTON: RACE 9 @ 4:55 PM
A good contest. MAJINIKA (3) has been close-up at Ascot the two runs back and can fires third-up in this grade. He will race handy and is on an eight-day return. ANGRY ANNIE (8) has won three of the last four and they stack right up. Gets weight relief and should go close. KENYLUCK (10) also brings excellent from and is well-weighted. The speedster gets a wide gate today and needs an economical ride. MYCROFT (6) missed a nose behind Angry River 28 days ago following the two wins and can bounce drawn well and with he blinkers applied again. SELECTIONS: Going with Majinika and we might get a price.
