Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Randwick-Kensington, Gawler, Ipswich and Sandown-Hillside.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 3 @ 3:30 PM

LADY OF LUXURY (6) was very good in the Magic Millions maiden last time out. Will take plenty of benefit off that first-up run for 36 weeks. Is the most experienced horse in the field and should go close. YUMI (8) was heavily supported when failing to finish on debut. Hasn't raced for over a year but where there's smoke there's fire and has to be respected. MAGIC RULER (2) failed last time but was competitive running second in his first two starts. Drawn well. CALGARY QUEEN (5) was okay on debut and has had two trials leading into this. SKEDADDLE (7) looks the best of the first-starters.
SELECTIONS: Lady Of Luxury to win.

GAWLER: RACE 3 @ 2:50 PM

AMBER HAZE (10) has been placed in seven of 10 starts and should appreciate getting out to 1500m. She finished off strong behind Bon Pegasus last time, draws a good gate and won’t find too many better chances to break her maiden status. GOGOLF GURU (13) was runner-up behind Chose Blonde at Morphettville back in August and finished off well behind Bolt By last time and should also appreciate the extra trip. CALL ME ARCHER (4) raced well last campaign and was backed into favourite when 5th beaten 3.6 len behind Better Eddie at Oakbank last time. RIVER (9) has been placed at seven of 17 starts and was sent out favourite at Clare last time. ANOTHER WHINE (3) can improve from handy debut in top stable.
SELECTIONS: Amber Haze to win.

IPSWICH: RACE 3 @ 3:23 PM

IAMICAN (2) put up a good effort in Listed grade three back and flogged the 60 graders first up by 5.5L on speed. The longer sprint suits as does the rails barrier. In a form barn and clearly rates to win again. SAKURA STAR (7) has been racing well since the Maiden win. Just missed the placings here the latest and gets a low gate and the blinkers applied first time. ALL SHIRAZ (1) flopped at Toowoomba but the form around that is solid and she won't be far away with a form hoop riding first time. HAIRDO (8) led and won the Ballina Maiden and should be in the mix building on that.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Iamican.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 7 @ 7:00 PM

FLANDERSRAIN (5) came back to racing in good order beaten 1.8L in stronger class. She gets the handy claim and has plenty up the sleeve. The mile is ideal now and she should be winning in the easiest company she's found in a while. MAGNOSSIVA (10) has just -missed the last two this grade and trip and the latest here stacks right up. The claim is handy and he should go close. REBEL RACER (11) brought strong figures to resumption but disappointed as favourite. He is much better than that and can improve sharply getting out to the mile. Kah's booking is a decent push for his chances. LARRIKIN (4) keeps Williams and won't be far away reaching peak fitness.
SELECTIONS: Backing Flandersrain to win.
