Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Lismore, Kyneton, Mackay and Geraldton.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 4 @ 3:40 PM

GREEN KUDOS (1) resumed as a gelding off a Rosehill trial win and was just beaten from the front at Kembla Grange as favourite. Gets Rawiller today and he should have little trouble finding the speed. With the extra fitness he's clearly the one to beat. BULLET FORCE (7) had trialled well and then didn't have the best of it heavily-bet at Muswellbrook on debut. The wide gate is against but he is in a leading yard has to be given another chance. LEGAL CHALLENGE (10) resumes and is up to this at best. He has trialled well in town and no surprise if he's presented forward this time around. HOT AS HELL (2) resumes from the rail and showed enough on debut to suggest he's a hope. MANCO MAN (4) on debut is a late market watch.
SELECTIONS: Backing Green Kudos.

LISMORE: RACE 5 @ 4:40 PM

DOMINARCHER (2) ran 3 lengths behind the winner fresh at Gold Coast. Close to a win and form good for this. The one to beat.. EXAMPLES (8) is a three-year-old gelding by Pluck from Mollycat on debut today. Looks a definite chance at first outing after his barrier trial win. POET'S GIRL (13) ran sixth last time out at Sunshine Coast. Will need a good ride but rates among the chances. AUSZONE (1) knuckled down strongly when finished a nose from the winner at Murwillumbah. Should be winding up late again. LA ROCA (14) can improve sharply.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Dominarcher. Wary the first starter Examples.

KYNETON: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

BACKPEDAL (6) is worth another try. Finished fifth last start beaten 6 lengths at Moonee Valley over 1000m but bombed the start and was wide throughout. Extra trip suits and will find this easier. Looks the one to beat. SOLITARY TRAMP (3) won by a nose last start at Stony Creek when well supported and expected to go forward here. Hard to knock recent form and looks a major player. KOOTARA (4) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fourth at Flemington. Better placed here and rates a strong each way chance. FLORESCENT STAR (10) got off the mark with a maiden win at Stony Creek last start. Was far too good but meets a tougher assignment here. MOSSCON (8) will be rock-hard fit now following a nice effort at Pakenham last start when third.
SELECTIONS: Backpedal can atone.

MACKAY: RACE 7 @ 5:15 PM

OSWANA (1) has won the last two from the speed and it was easy at Rocky the latest when backed into the red. Keeps the leading hoop and can go right on with it. IMALI (5) worked into the placings here 13 days ago showing more like her best. Finds easier and can make the quinella racing at peak fitness. KOTABHARU (3) has been knocking on a the at Rocky and is well in the mix. ROCK READY (8) is still a Maiden but there was only a nose in it 3rd up at Rocky and he is worth a look at a big price. AMOREM (6) gets the blinkers again and looks next best.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Oswana.

GERALDTON: RACE 2 @ 1:50 PM

SAVAGE ONE (3) was tipped out for a spell after a promising second on debut in town. Has had two trial hit-outs in preparation for this. Has drawn well and looks the clear winner. HOWSIT (9) was much better when runner up last time here. Has drawn well in gate one and gets 1.5kg off. The main danger. GINGERLAGO (10) has improved with every run and the 3kg claim brings her well in at the weights. Will be fitter third-up. ROBYN'S SON (1) has had plenty of chances but can pick up some minor money again. PASSPORT (6) was a nice trial winner last time out and could show up on debut.
SELECTIONS: Savage One to win.
