Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Cowra, Sapphire Coast and York.

COWRA: RACE 3 @ 3:15 PM

CAREERING AWAY (3) has been racing well of late with a win and two seconds from his past three starts. Cray has been in the irons for all three of those runs and sticks. Drawn to get a nice run from gate four and looks the one to beat. BELLS 'N' BOWS (4) has been just off the placegetters at her past few but has drawn to get a soft run from the inside barrier. One of the main dangers. BEMBOKA (9) doesn't win out of turn but will be rock-hard fit and drops back from racing over 2000m plus. OPERA TICKETS (6) was a good winner two starts back and has won over this journey. BOURIS (7) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Careering Away to win.

SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 3 @ 2:55 PM

JACK THE BRUMBY (4) showed early speed from an outside gate at Canberra and led for much of the way before fading late. He looks very well placed in this line-up can win third-up with the newly-returned Billy Owen in the saddle for Nick Olive. ARCHIE'S A STAR (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before the spell. Despite the draw should be parked just off the speed and his best figures are too dangerous to ignore. TIMES CHANGE (14) is a daughter of Excelebration making her debut. Fitter for a recent trial run and must be watched closely for any market move. SPRITELY EMILY (11) was prominent throughout on debut and boxed on well when sixth over 1200m at Moruya. A value chance with the extra fitness.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Jack The Brumby.

YORK: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM

TEMPTACION (3) was safely held in stronger class when seventh first-up over 1500m in the LR Challenge Stakes at Ascot. Fitter and expected to improve sharply today. Rates highly and can bounce back. PATY'S FORCAST (2) returned with a strong run but was plainer after missing the frame over 1500m at Pinjarra. Fitter she can feature on best form. WORTH A RISK (1) ran well below best last time over 1600m at Pinjarra, beaten 4 lengths when jumping at $4.50. Best figures should see her run well. CHRISELLE (4) got off the mark claiming her maiden success at Ascot on a soft track over 1800m and the jockey Natasha Faithfull sticks. Has found winning form now and is worth following.
SELECTIONS: Backing Temptacion.
