KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 6 @ 4:20 PM
LOCA (2) came off a decent effort in Listed grade and finished midfield resuming at Canterbury. Comes back in grade and finally gets a low gate. He has plenty up the sleeve and should prove very hard to beat. PRAGMATISM (8) broke through for her maiden win at Gosford on a soft track and Lever stays aboard. Steps out over further and is an each way hope running along. PIPPALI (11) is an improver who won here before the rather luckless 1.4L defeat at Canterbury. Fitter she's a genuine hope. BOB (1) resumes as a gelding and has trialled well. In good hands and has shown enough to be very competitive.

EMERALD: RACE 7 @ 5:54 PM
PETITE ELLE (4) found plenty when winning by a nose three runs back at Dalby. Led and outclassed latest but far easier here. Expected to bounce back. SHADY DIAMOND (6) ran well last start when second at Braidwood over 1350m on a soft track. Has the claim and overdue. Appeals as a leading player. ALGEROBA (2) finished fourth last start, beaten 3 lengths at this track over 1000m. Fitter and should give this a shake. SIXTY ONE TIGERS (9) is resuming with solid claims.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Petite Elle this class.
GRAFTON: RACE 4 @ 4:05 PM
SEPTEMBER GIRL (3) resumed over 1000m and was too good scoring by 1.5 lengths at Ballina. Has won a trial since and gets a royal chance for back to back wins. RIOLI (4) finished second two runs back then ran below expectations at Coffs Harbour. Has a decent record at this track and looks to have genuine claims on best form. FRANKLIN CORNERS (2) made good improvement winning the CL1 here 12 days ago. Has to come back to a shorter sprint but is capable of coming over the top of them. LA CRONICA (8) resumes and has placed 2/2 fresh. Will likely be improved and keep an eye on the late betting.
