Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Cranbourne, Sapphire Coast, Muswellbrook and Warrnambool.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 4 @ 8:00 PM

HELMITON (3) is an improver who just missed at Sandown up to this distance range. A top rider sticks and will settle him handy. He's ready to win and was the one to beat before the scratchings. AND SHE WAS (7) has been going along well and reaches peak fitness. Keeps the in-form hoop and shapes as a key chance. REWARD FOR ROSIE (11) was just nudged out here at her second start sharply better. Can build on that and is a player. MISS KAFOOPS (9) gets the blinkers first time and has shown enough to be considered with the extra fitness.
SELECTIONS: Backing Helmiton.

SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 1 @ 1:30 PM

MAGICO HOMBRE (2) was huge last start in a BM70 at Albury after being wide the trip. Drops in class and should be positioned well in the run. Great wet form, will be hard to beat. HALLIDAY ROAD (3) is chasing a hat-trick and looks the likely leader. Led all the way this track/distance last start. ZARDORO (5) was no match latest, but is a winner this track/distance three starts back on a heavy track. Don't count him out. DELICATELY (6) returns to country grade after being beaten only 0.9L last start. Nice wet form. NINDAMOS (1) is way down in class. Best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Win bet Magico Hombre.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 4 @ 3:05 PM

The ultra-consistent PURE FUEGO (5) has only missed a placed once in seven starts to date including a win over this track and distance. Reith has had three steers for a win and two placings and will be at peak fitness now for this. Looks the one they all have to catch. TWO BIG FARI (1) has a great first-up record with two wins and a second from four attempts and gets 2kg off with the claim. A major threat. MORE SUNDAYS (7) is regally-bred and may have turned the corner after the last start victory. COOL WORLD (8) is a winner over this journey and can earn a cheque. TROPHIES GALORE (4) loves this track and trip with three wins and four placings from nine starts.
SELECTIONS: Pure Fuego to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM

SIG POSITANO (3) found form with a strong finishing effort over this trip at Pakenham last time. Will drift back but expected to be strong in the finish again. Rate highly. DUCHESS OF DORSET (9) did it well at only start. Will be improved by the experience and is expected to go on with it here. BABY BOOMER (1) came back from a long break with a solid performance at Sandown. Will strip fitter this time and is on home track. Everything points to a big run. KNOCK KNOCK (8) hasn't been too far off the mark in recent assignments and should give a good account of himself here.
SELECTIONS: Back Sig Positano.
