Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for April 28.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Warwick Farm, Ballarat, Toowoomba, Ascot and Balaklava.
WARWICK FARM: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM
BILLIONDOLLARBABY (1) was impressive on debut leading all the way at Canterbury. Will have taken benefit from the experience and can go right on with it now. The hardest to beat. BELLA ROUGE (3) was a handy Randwick trial winner and McDonald was on board and sticks. A massive watch from the good barn. SHIHONKA (9) has had two solid trials in preparation for this and gets the coveted rails draw. Hard to ignore. MISS MAZ (7) gets 3kg off for her debut and can be in the finish. YOUR TOO GOOD (2) best of the rest on the back of a second at Hawkesbury when trying to lead all the way.

TOOWOOMBA: RACE 2 @ 1:08 PM
RED BLOOM (3) was heavily-backed placing here 18 days ago but the two efforts prior are the standouts. Draws to the run of the race and can be winning for the form yard. PROMISE YOU (8) resumed further improved winning the CL1 at Eagle Farm. She may control the race and fitter will be hard to peg back. ELEGANT GRACE (1) has been switched from NSW and the speedy galloper finds much easier grade. Draws low and her best is good enough. DARING BELLE (7) has just missed the last three in town and is also a player. SELECTIONS: With Red Bloom.
ASCOT: RACE 5 @ 3:35 PM
BEAU ZOOM (3) should be ready to win again. On the pace and had to be wide for a part of the race last start here seven days ago. Quick backup and gets a tick over the trip. Winning hope. TREVELLO (2) wasn't far off the winner at all at Pinjarra when just missing the placings. It was an improved run and should go close today. HOW'S THE SERENITY (5) just got the win first-up and there wasn't a lot wrong with the placing here earlier this month. On the up and has to be included. METALLIC QUEEN (6) made good ground at York over 1200m and sticks to that trip today. Might find a few stronger but goes in exotics. EXCELESTIAL (1) does need to show more than last start but did beat Beau Zoom two runs back. Might be the value runner and can't be left out.

BALAKLAVA: RACE 7 @ 4:15 PM
GREAT LEVELLER (6) looks well suited here. He's a Morphettville winner and has placed behind some nice horses. He draws perfectly and will take beating. MAGNO (2) is a winner here and was placed at four of five runs before a break. NARRATIVE STAR (11) was a Gawler winner four starts back and has claims here. VON SAGA (7) was a Morphettville winner last August and has trialled up well for her return, DAWN SALUTE (3) is fitter for two runs back and was a Morphettville winner in August.
