BALLARAT: RACE 3 @ 1:20 PM

FOXY FRIDA (8) looks hard to beat having placed at all three career runs to date including last start when she just missed as a long odds on favourite with a good gap to third. She was first up on that occasion and with added fitness here she's the one to beat again. VISUALISING (6) resumes here with an encouraging Trial in preparation. She ended last campaign with a good second to the handy Arabian Hussey with a good gap to third. With natural improvement she can get into the finish. GOTTA BE HONEST (9) resumes having been thereabouts in two starts to begin his career. He's one for the exotics. HELEVA DEEL (11) is yet to place but her form is better than it reads on paper having been close up in three starts to date in good form races including last start behind Confrontational. She could surprise fresh. GUNNA GUNNA (10) ran well to place on debut prior to a spell, next best. SELECTION: Foxy Frida can break through.

MUDGEE: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM

BYRON (3) has kicked off his career in good style, winning on debut and placing at both runs since. Last start led and fought on for a 1.5 length second at Bathurst and drops in the weights for this. Has the pace to take a forward position and expected to prove tough to beat. MEDIA MAN (5) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by one length over 1500m at Newcastle. May be ready to go on with it now. ALWAYS ON SHOW (10) was not far away last time out finishing fourth over 1400m at Newcastle. Scored at only try at this trip and will be race fit third up. Worth including among the main hopes. MIANDELLE (11) won on debut and must be respected. SELECTION: Byron is showing promise. Backing to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 3:09 PM

Looks a very winnable race for NOTHINSWEETABOUTME (7). Opened her career with two solid wins at Canberra and Goulburn before not being disgraced in a Group 3 race at Kembla Grange. Has drawn perfectly in gate two and will be in front a long way. Hard to beat. OLYMPIC CLASS (5) hasn't done much wrong with two wins and a second from four starts to date including a victory at this track last time out. Looks a key player. BOLD DELAGO (10) is a winner here and will be rock-hard fit for this. In the mix. SCRATCHES (2) has placed two of her past three and can be in the frame. NO INUENDO (6) has won two of his past three and is one for the multiples. SELECTION: Nothinsweetaboutme to win.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 2 @ 3:52 PM

POWERFUL FORCE (2) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Ascot and beaten 3.5 lengths. Yet to win at the distance but has recorded three minor placings from four tries and is clearly the one to beat. AURAE (5) has been running well this time in, placing second last start at this track making it two placings from four starts this campaign. Jockey Natasha Faithfull stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on her five times. Rates among the leading chances. OUR NORMAN (3) ran fourth last start beaten 3 lengths at this track over 1300m. Definite player. ACT INNOCENT (8) showed little early pace and drifted well back but wound up strongly to hit the frame, finishing third over 1300m here last time. Rates strongly on best and has the blinkers removed here. Could sneak into the finish. SELECTION: Very keen on Powerful Force back in this grade
