Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Ballarat, Ipswich and Bordertown.

RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM

OSAMU (1) finally broke through last time out when at very skinny odds. Prior to that win he had been competing in Group and Listed races. Gets 2kgs off with the claim and will take plenty of confidence from the last start victory. Looks the testing material. IMPOSING BEAU (5) was impressive when winning on debut and can go on with it now. Drawn perfectly in gate one and looks a major player. ESCAPE ARTIST (6) is very consistent only missing the top four once in five starts. Has placed over this track and trip and can be in the frame. YANGARRA ROSE (9) has placed two from two first-up and can feature while fresh. HURT MONEY (3) has placed three from four over this journey and can earn a cheque.
SELECTIONS: Osamu to win.

BALLARAT: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM

SACRED PALACE (6) is a former Kiwi who impressed just missing first-up for the Smith yard as a gelding. Oliver sticks and will settle him handier from the low gate. He's promising and fitter can take this out. SHE'S BOOMING (14) led and won the Geelong Maiden by a space building on the debut placing. Ran a very strong relative figure and will be further improved. Is speedy and just has to get an economical passage from the wide gate to go close. LUCKY SHAM (13) resumed in easier and the Maiden win two-back was big. Like Lane's booking and keep a close eye on the market. SO SWAY (5) is a West Australian resuming off a big Cranbourne trial win. Has won 2/2 fresh and keep a close eye on the late market.
SELECTIONS: Backing Sacred Palace to win.

IPSWICH: RACE 3 @ 1:43 PM

SOUTHERN SWING (5) came back to a more suitable trip winning the 68 here. It was a gutsy effort and he rates to go on with it with weight relief and Callow sticking. MISSION HILL (7) came back from Sydney and was beaten a whisker this distance range at the Gold Coast. That stacks up and Orman replaces Callow. A player. SENRIMA TIDE (2) has had one blip in a string of decent efforts. He races well here and will race handy from the low barrier. A chance. PROSPECTUS (3) is in a top yard and can improve sharply off the first up outing. Is certainly good enought to win. WILD MOON (6) is up to this and ready for the more suitable distance. The 3kg claim brings him into it.
SELECTIONS: Sticking with Southern Swing.

BORDERTOWN: RACE 5 @ 3:05 PM

EXALTED BEAST (1) has won three of his past five starts and was too good for Plaisir at Murray Bridge last time. He's the one to beat. GRINZINGER STAR (3) showed ability as a 3yo and his latest effort behind Sadente was his best in SA and he can figure in a race like this. His best would win this. RUNBRO (6) is going well having won two his past three and he looks right in the mix from the inside gate. FRANKEL STAR (8) won two in a row earlier this campaign and wasn't beaten far behind Going Gaga in a stronger race last time. FLOW METER (7) lines up for his 163rd start here and has been in the money at three of four on track.
SELECTIONS: Exalted Beast to win again.
