Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sale, Goulburn, Rockhampton and Scone.
SALE: RACE 2 @ 1:30 PM
Of the three best hopes RUNAWAY RIVER (13) draws best and races handy. Was just beaten on the good at Bendigo before the spell and resumed missed a lip on the heavy at Echuca heavily-bet. She will be fitter and has a future. KEEP ON FIGHTING (4) draws sticky but should find cover and is ready to win. Missed 1.3L here first up and was heavily backed on the synthetic the latest. PELORUS PRINCESS (12) was just pipped here first-up from the speed running the best figure presenting in this contest. The well-bred filly will be fancied but gets the outside gate and will need a good ride crossing-over. VICTORIA FALLS (14) runs along and is also going well enough to be considered.

GOULBURN: RACE 3 @ 1:15 PM
I LOVE LUCY (3) runs along and has missed a lip at Newcastle here both starts back. Gets the top hoop and fitter she should have the raced-brigade covered. SILENT IMPACT (6) debuts for a leading Sydney-yard and has trialled well. Will use the low gate and the betting has to be monitored closely. CHARLEMAGNE (2) did about what expected first-up and has more to give. In the mix. SUPRINA (7) is a former Victorian and is up to this at best. She's speedy and has trialled well in town since the Nowra start 14 days ago. Is ready to show something.

SCONE: RACE 6 @ 3:25 PM
REACH BEYOND (3) had been working up to a win and managed to put them away last time out at Muswellbrook. Will take plenty of confidence from that victory and Reith sticks. Drawn perfectly in gate four and is sure to be there when the whips are cracking. IMPERIAL GREY (4) is another who shed the maiden tag last start and can go right on with it now. Has placed at this track and looks a serious player in this. NEWFANGLED JILL (7) is lightly raced but has shown enough ability to be right in the mix here. HILLANDALE (12) has placed three of his past four including two over this journey. Respect. SWITCH PLAY (9) will be nearing peak fitness fourth-up from the spell and can be in the frame.
