Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Cowra,Taree and Gatton.

COWRA: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM

LIBERTY FIELDS (10) returns from a let-up today and gets Alysha Collett in the saddle. Wasn't far away at Scone before the break and form out of the race has been good. Draws well with a light weight and is a leading chance. SHE'LL BE APPLES (6) was a dominant winner at Canberra Acton two back and wasn't far away at Muswellbrook latest. Jess Taylor hops back aboard. Sure to be in the finish. BLACKADDER (3) went down narrowly at Warren last start. He's placed on a wet track before and Meredith's claim is a bonus. Winning hope. MONT GENEP (4) wasn't far away over this track and distance last start. Has two wins when third-up previously. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Going with Liberty Fields to win.

TAREE: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM

LINGUEE (2) reaches peak fitness and has been busting to win in city and provincial grade. Gets a handy gate and a leading hoop rides first time. The one to beat. PAXOS MISS (6) peaks and has won two of the last three. Uses the rail and is a winning chance. ZARU (7) just missed behind the above the latest and will present at his best. He's speedy and keeps the handy 3kg claim. FOUR EGOS (5) won well third-up at Grafton and fitter can't be ruled out up in grade.
SELECTIONS: Backing Linguee to win.

GATTON: RACE 7 @ 3:08 PM

APPLECROSS (2) has raced in much stronger at Eagle Farm his last three starts. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and can take this out if he can position-up from the rail. ROSTRUM (5) had been threatening and then things didn't work out on better grade at Rockhampton. This suits much better and he can make the finish a month way over a shorter sprint. NOT BY NATURE (4) resumes off a heavily-bet Maiden win at Glen Innes. The former Victorian has never raced over a short sprint but will have come on. A betting watch.MIYAKO ODORI (11) next best with the extra fitness.
SELECTIONS: Backing Applecross.
