Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Moonee Valley,  Eagle Farm, Morphettville and Belmont Park.

RANDWICK: RACE 4 @ 1:05 PM

CRIMINAL CODE (1) hit back last start when simply too good at this track over the mile. Should be even better getting out to 1800m and while up in the weights he gets in well after Ryan's claim. Rates clear and looks to have these covered. BADOOSH (3) should appreciate getting back onto a firm track and a big tick with Bowman aboard. More than capable and looms as a major threat. MR GEE (5) chases the hat-trick having taken a good step forward at Randwick (K) last start. Rates well off that and while this is harder he is trending the right way. BETHENCOURT (8) only went down narrowly last start and a repeat has him right around the mark again.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Criminal Code.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 2 @ 1:20 PM

DUCHY OF SAVOY (14) just peaked on the run resuming at Randwick on the Kensington but travelled up to win there and can be fitter for it. Deep race but looks a terrific chance having drawn to get the right run. Best horse here could well be FROST FLOWERS (2) who made a big impression on debut over the summer. Didn't go on with that but looks one to be better this time around. ZAPATEO (6) is up and going and should use fitness edge to run well again. Stablemates TYCOON HUMMA (3) and LA ROCQUE (1) both proved themselves smart at two, winning stakes races at Flemington, and demand respect on their returns.
SELECTIONS: Something on Duchy Of Savoy in what could prove an informative race.

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 5 @ 2:11 PM

EURELLYDIDIT (3) is only lightly-raced and put the writing on the wall with a solid placing here earlier in the month. Looks well-placed in this line-up and should go close. RUDIMENTARY (7) was comfortably held at Wangaratta last time but previous form on the synthetic at Ballarat was solid. Is well worth thought here. IMPRINTED (5) raced on the speed and toughed it out well here last time. Is worth keeping in mind. PONTIFICATE (12) is a two-year-old filly by Dundeel on debut. Sure to be well-educated and has to be kept in mind.
SELECTIONS: Back Eurellydidit to win.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 3 @ 12:38 PM

LASHONI (11) was an eye catcher first up, running on strongly to miss by just a head over 1200m at this track. Usually races well second up and the extra 200m should suit. Has winning claims. GENUINE AL (14) has two wins and a placing from three attempts this preparation, proving too strong last start at Gold Coast over 1400m in soft going. Well drawn and is race fit. Has winning claims again. LUNA MIA (8) put the writing on the wall when closing strongly for second last time. Has won at this longer trip and is close to peaking. ROCK AMORE (3) draws wide but was consistent before the latest offering so is worth another chance. MAHUSSEY (12) is also going well and is worth including.
SELECTIONS: Lashoni to win off an eye-catching return.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 6 @ 2:52 PM

DENERO (3) is back to a far better option than those Victorian races. He will love it wet and up in ground. This race does set up perfectly for him to swoop into it. FRANCE'S BOY (2) loves wet tracks so can produce again. He will sit in a forward position. DR DEPENDABLE (6) doesn't win that often but is suited around this distance range. FLYING PIERRO (8) has now put two good efforts together. Is enjoying the sting out of the tracks. CLASSY JOE (5) made up good ground two weeks ago. He's never that far away.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Denero.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM

MISS VASARI (7) is lightly raced and shows plenty of talent. Dominant when resuming over the same course and can only be fitter. Should take beating again. REIGN OF FIRE (5) is racing well without winning and that's the only issue, he just needs to find an extra length and he could break through. DOWNFORCE (2) is a talented type resuming with a handy fresh record. Check betting but capable of posing a threat. REBEL KNIGHT (3) can also run well first-up and next best LONDON MISS (4).
SELECTIONS: Miss Vasari to win. Trifecta 7-2,3,4,5/2,3,4,5.
