EL FABIO (1) made sharp improvement winning here this grade and impressed. The 2kg claim takes care of some of the weight rise and she can win again drawn for a soft run. EXLOVER (4) won the Maiden here on the same day and it was also a good effort. Fitter he looks capable of taking the next step. SAASMIT (8) resumes off Group and Listed races for the State's top stable. Won easily three-back on debut and can test with a good ride from the sticky gate. THE PHANTOM BANTAM (7) has been around the mark and gets the blinkers first time.

TIMPERLEY (6) was narrowly beaten at this track over 1300m last time out. Draws better today and a repeat of that run should see him hard to beat. THINKING CAP (5) is ready to peak third-up after finishing down the track at Gosford last time out and faces easier opposition today. Brodie Loy takes the ride and should be prominent in the finish from the good draw. EL PRADOS (1) will utilise the claim of Molly Bourke as he drops from a 1.4L defeat in BM66 company to easier opposition today. Draws to do no work and is a definite winning hope. HALLIDAY ROAD (4) comes into this off a 4L defeat at the Sapphire Coast. Sally Faulks will claim 4kg again. Not out of this on best figures. NEWTOWN IS COMING (2) gets the blinkers taken off after finishing 3.8L away at Corowa last start. Run at Moruya two back was good. Keep safe.
