Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Scone, Sale and Mt Isa.

NARRATED (7) resumed an easy Maiden winner and then ran along and was just pipped late at Goulburn both on wet tracks. Should be ready for the longer distance and will go close for a top barn. MANTINELLO (8) was tracking well before a plainer run the latest when jumping considerably in trip. Is back 400m but has more to give. ZOOMERANGO (4) came from the tail here just beaten at the mile and was good over a middle distance prior. The 3kg claim advantages but she'll need some luck settling back from the rails barrier. LIME AND SUGAR (6) missed a nose here at the middle distance improving again. Is back in journey but can make the finish.

MARIINSKY (5) finally got on the board with an impressive win at Warracknabeal last time. Now that he's broken through he may be able to go on with it here. Should go close. CICERO FIELD (6) has only put in one bad run, from four attempts, since coming down from NSW. Is suited in a race of this nature and cannot be dismissed. ROYAL VOLLEY (3) worked home soundly in town last time against tougher opposition. Suited here and is a trifecta hope. FLORIDA DREAM (1) has had the two runs back from a break and with added fitness cannot be left out of calculations.
SELECTIONS: Back Mariinsky to win.
MT ISA: RACE 2 @ 2:10 PM
DUNNERS (1) brings terrific form from Townsville to peak. Gets the form hoop and only needs to bring the form to the sand track to be winning comfortably. RICH PRINCESS (4) was back to his best winning the 65 and still looks well placed. A quinella chance. BANKSY STRIKES (2) was plain the latest at Townsville but was good there prior building on the 6.8L win here in a 55. She can bounce into the finish. ZAGITOVA (3) gets the 2kg claim and is also going well enough to consider.
