Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Pakenham Synthetic, Albury, Taree  and Beaudesert.

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 5 @ 3:00 PM

PAL'S REWARD (1) was in a different class scoring a dominant all the way win here over 1000m. Rates strongly and is the one to beat again. RISING SPHERE (3) showed good speed here last time over 1200m leading into the straight beaten 2.25 lengths. Will go forward and the shorter sprint is likely to advantage. MY RUBY (7) has had two runs back in stronger in Sydney and has switched barns. Has the ability and quick improvement is on the cards. SHILO LASS (6) is third-up off a freshen. Gets the blinkers first-time and is an each way hope.
SELECTIONS: Backing Pal's Reward.

ALBURY: RACE 4 @ 2:45 PM

SEVENTH SEAL (5) is yet to miss the placings so far this prep with a win two starts back. Is on a nine day back up and draws the pole over the 1000m. Will look to sit leader's back and ease off heels when straightening. Top pick. MOUSE ALMIGHTY (7) was a narrow winner last time out on a Heavy Gundagai surface. Gets in well at the weights with the apprentice retaining her ride and claiming 3kgs. Key challenger. YELDARB (1) carries the topweight with 64kgs on his back even with the apprentice claiming 4kgs. Is the class horse of the race and can be forgiven for his last start effort at Sandown when hampered throughout finishing sixth. Can bounce back to form but expect the weight to be telling. TOBERMORY (4) presents first up today after a year and a half layoff. Deserves consideration following a Goulburn trial win. Matthew Cahill pilots the gelding, winning his lone prior outing aboard.
SELECTIONS: Seventh Seal on the quick back up.

TAREE: RACE 7 @ 4:20 PM

TURNING (8) has made a good start to his career, winning well at Muswellbrook last start. Draws well again and is a leading chance. EYEWITNESS (7) resuming with a trial placing at Wyong under her belt. Showed good ability in her first campaign with two wins at this trip. Finds a winnable race first-up. THE NIGHT TRAIN (6) is a stayer resuming but has shown plenty of class. Keep safe. ALL ABOUT CHARLIE (9) gave herself too much work to do last start at Coffs Harbour. Was good at Grafton three back. Respect.
SELECTIONS: Turning to win the last.

BEAUDESERT: RACE 6 @ 4:27 PM

SIR PICCOLO (1) has been around the mark in stronger since the Dalby win and races at peak fitness. Draws well and looks well-placed with Lloyd's 2kg claim. MISHANI CONMAN (4) won the Toowoomba Maiden first-up as expected and then raced there again in stronger than this just missing the placings as favourite. Gets a 4kg claim and fitter should go close. FIRE IN THE HOLE (2) has switched to the Button yard and has trialled well at the Sunshine Coast. Has placed fresh and with Stewart booked the market needs close monitoring. CLICKETY CLICKS (8) was busting to win before a luckless run at Kilcoy as favourite. Draws sticky but the 3kg claim advantages and he's in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Sir Piccolo.
