Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held Pakenham, Warrnambool, Albury, Kempsey, Rockhampton  and Sunshine Coast.

PAKENHAM: RACE 4 @ 7:15 PM

The well-related MIYAZAKI (5) was well-found on debut and wasn't disgraced when a handy second at Mornington. Sure to have come on with that run under his belt and Higgins sticks in the irons. Has plenty of upside and rates to be in the finish again. BAY OF NAPLES (10) is extremely well-bred and from a good barn. Any moves in betting should be heeded. SWEAR BY HER (11) is facing the starter for the second time and will have taken plenty of benefit from that debut effort. In the mix. GREAT BOULDER (2) has been thereabouts in all four outings and can fill the frame.
SELECTIONS: Miyazaki to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 4 @ 3:00 PM

BLUE ARMY (3) ran along and was just nudged out at Cranbourne on debut. Draws low for his return to the track and Yendall is a key booking. In a top barn and is the one to beat. TYPHOON MOON (9) resumes and brings good figures. Has placed 2/2 first-up and draws handy. A bold return is anticipated. FINNEAS (2) didn't have much luck here in a strong form race and looked in need of the first-up run. Fitter he can improve into the placings. STAR KILLER (5) is speed-bred and was well-bet here second-up and disappointed. McDougall sticking is a plus and expect quick improvement on the 8-day return. SELECTIONS: Backing Blue Army.

ALBURY: RACE 6 @ 5:45 PM

CONTROVERSIAL MISS (6) showed good tactical speed at the latest before being headed on the line. On the short back-up and looks to be a touch too classy for this lot. Top pick. DESTINY'S GHOST (7) charged home gamely last time out, going down by half a length here over 900m. The rise in distance looks to suit and expect her to be hitting the line strongly. Can threaten. PRINCESS WARRIOR (8) was safely held on debut over the track and trip a fortnight ago. Will have taken natural progression and is worth some thought this time. PRINCE CARLOS (2) is set for debut on the back of two sound barrier trials here at the track. Drawn the inside fence and is worth watching for market support.
SELECTIONS: Backing Controversial Miss.

KEMPSEY: RACE 8 @ 5:20 PM

PACE STICK (4) is a very honest galloper only missing the top five once in nine career starts. Draws to get a cosy run from gate two and gets 3kg off with the claim. Expected to give a massive sight. SCHILLER BAY (6) loves this sprint trip with a win and a second from two outings. Goes well for Morgan who has two wins and two placings from five steers and looks a definite threat. ADAMDEEANT (10) will strip fitter second-up and gets 2kg weight relief. In the mix. TALLIS (3) disappointed first-up but deserves another chance. GOLD RHAPSODY (8) has placed over this track and trip and looks one for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Pace Stick to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

HILFLAGER (5) reaches peak fitness and is busting to win. Gets weight relief in this grade and the blinkers are on again. Runs along and Fradd is a key jockey booking. BIG JAKE (1) is fast and (first-up) presented off stronger grade at the Gold Coast to easily win the 60 at Gladstone. He has more to give and the in-form Stanley rides first time. CURVETTA (4) had been racing well before finding the Mackay 70 a bit tough. Had the winkers on for that and they come straight off. Draws to advantage with a small claim and is in the mix. SANTORINI SUMMER (2) will be better for the first-up run and may prove next best.
SELECTIONS: Backing Hilflager.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 8:00 PM

TOLKOWSKY (3) is another strong winning chance for the sharp Vandyke barn. Was back to his best winning the 65 easily on the heavy and is just as good on the dry. Can get the run of the race and the small claim assists the well-bred gelding. TICK TOCK BOOM (5) is a stablemate who was just beaten here second-up this grade. He's won third-up and has plenty up the sleeve. Can prove the danger. LEXINGTON LAD (10) was beaten 2L here first up and is much improved. This is tougher but he's well-weighted and can run along from the rail. Has to be considered. VITAL SOURCE (14) won the Maiden here by a space and then was just beaten at Ipswich. She also finds tougher but has weight relief and is well in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Tolkowsky.
