Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 8.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Moe, Lismore and Queanbeyan.
MOE: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
GLAMDAM (11) just missed resuming and then didn't get warm at Ballarat in stronger than this. She is much better than that and the lift to the middle distance is right up her alley. Newitt goes on and rides this track well. SAVING (2) led and won this grade getting back to his best. Has the speed to cross over and control the race and should be hard to get past. ALLY'S REWARD (10) placed in the same race and is busting to win. Gets back but will hit the line. MISTERZEE (1) is going well enough to make the board.
SELECTIONS: Backing Glamdam to win.
LISMORE: RACE 2 @ 2:25 PM
ISLA'S DAY (1) is unlucky to still be a maiden going down narrowly in all three starts to date and strikes a winnable contest here. Strips fitter third-up from the spell and drawn to get a cosy run from the inside stall. Will be right there when the whips are cracking. HARDLY THE END (3) is trained on course and has gotten better every time she has stepped out to the races. In the mix. FRAZZLED (9) has placed at this track and will be at peak fitness for this. One for the multiples. BELLICIOUS (7) best of the rest from the low draw.
SELECTIONS: Isla's Day to win.
QUEANBEYAN: RACE 5 @ 4:40 PM
SIR FINN (2) can win this at best and can show more peaking off much stronger races. Gets the winkers again should have the speed to manage the sticky gate. MARCADA (9) has been going well enough to give him a chance in a weak race. Comes back to a sprint and finally draws a low barrier. MR CANTANKEROUS (3) is third-up off a much improved effort at Goulburn. He has the early tow to cross over and control the race. A player. MYBOYCOLLY (7) resumed in good order for the new barn and won't be far away.
