Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Pakenham, Ararat, Moruya, Gunnedah, Kilcoy, Penola  and Pinjarra.

PAKENHAM: RACE 6 @ 8:15 PM

POUNDING (8) is another strong chance for the red-hot Moody barn. Just missed the hat-trick on resumption after a tough run and will be better for it. Three starts back was beaten 1.8L this trip in a Caulfield Open 2 and has raced at Group level. Will push over to the speed and is the one to beat. SWEAR BY HER (12) won the Maiden comfortably and then was plainer after a slow away. Draws well and a much better effort is anticipated following the freshen. BENCZKOWSKI (4) ran along recording the comfortable debut win and then was out-graded at The Valley and spelled. Will come back further improved and has shown enough to make the finish. I'M SPEECHLESS (6) was close up on resumption building on the debut win. Another improver in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Pounding.

ARARAT: RACE 4 @ 2:45 PM

TRANQUIL BAY (10) brought strong for to resumption beaten 1.5L. She has plenty up the sleeve and has the winkers applied again. In a top barn and fitter should be winning. WISH MASTER (5) was slow off and did a good job on debut beaten 2.7L at Moe. She can improve into the finish for the in-form Stokes yard. TRIBUTO (4) debuts for a leading barn and will be well prepared. A betting watch. MISSED THE MARK (2) found one better resuming at Horsham and will build on that. An each way hope in this contest. SELECTIONS: Backing Tranquil Bay to win.

MORUYA: RACE 4 @ 3:25 PM

PRINCESS DE ROCA (6) returns and is 2/2 fresh. Has won on course and is drawn to do no work. Top pick. FACTORIZE (3) hit the line strongly at the latest, beaten 1.5L at the Sapphire Coast. Carries a handy record at the distance and gets in well at the weights with the 2kgs claimer. Big chance. DEEPFIELD MAGIC (5) is the best of the rest. Closed off nicely last time at Nowra to find the minors, but faces a tougher task in this. Gets in light at the weights and is worth keeping safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Princess De Roca.

GUNNEDAH: RACE 4 @ 3:50 PM

LORD BRONN (4) has done everything but win with seven placings from ten outings and gets his chance here. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and looks to be one of the better bets on the card. HIRAISHIN (7) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant respect in this. Looks a danger. Former Victorian DYED PRETTY (13) is having her first run for the new stable and a watch on betting is advised. KEEP ME LOYAL (1) only narrowly went down on debut and will have taken plenty from that race day experience. In the mix. ANGEL'S VOICE (3) has placed two from two over this sprint trip and can earn a cheque.
SELECTIONS: Lord Bronn to win.

KILCOY: RACE 1 @ 12:46 PM

HINSON (3) has had plenty of experience at the trials and is part of the powerful Lee Freedman stable who don't travel to these parts for the scenery. He should be winning this. MAMA ROCKS (11) won a trial prior to her debut in a much stronger field last season where she found it all a bit to much. She resumes here after a break and with natural improvement she looks to be the biggest danger to the top selection. OMBRE VOLANTE (8) looked forward at a recent trial and gets the blinkers added for her race day debut and with top jockey Brad Stewart taking the reins she will be given every chance. Watch closely. LADY KINCSEM (6) is another promising type on debut and has trialled well over the shorter distances. She draw perfectly and won't be far away.
SELECTIONS: Hinson win bet.

PENOLA: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM

RIALTOR (3) is fast and was back to his best leading beaten 1L at Strathalbyn. He peaks now and clearly rates to go one better. MAGIC REWARD (4) was well-beaten in the same race but had a wide run. The two prior efforts read well and fourth-up expect a bounce. GATSBY'S GIRL (6) comes out of the same race and will sit closer from the low gate. Won't be far away. MANHATTAN ARCH (1) was tracking well before the latest and can't be ruled out drawn to advantage.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Rialtor.

PINJARRA: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM

NOBLE SCOT (1) led but faded to finish second last start at Belmont, with William Pike in the saddle today is going to be hard to beat. COMEALILBITCLOSER (2) ran fourth last start at Belmont after getting too far back and if he can race handier today won't be far away at the line. VEVINSKY (4) led all the way to win easily here last start to break his maiden tag over 1413m when the favourite and is a strong chance to repeat the dose. PETITE LA FEMME (5) was a winner last start at long odds to break her maiden grading at Pinjarra, has to be a place chance based on that last start victory.
SELECTIONS: Noble Scot with William Pike riding looks the winner.
