Australian thoroughbred Tab meeting is today held at Warwick Farm, Sale, Ipswich, Mt Gambier and Pinjarra Scarpside.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 2 @ 2:35 PM

A lot to learn here with many of these babies on debut. RINGMASTER (5) is at the races for the first time but looked very handy winning a recent Randwick trial and should be respected from a good barn for two-year-olds. SURREAL LEO (8) wasn't disgraced at Hawkesbury and can play a role with natural improvement. The well-related LUNA ROCKS (10) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Ringmaster to win.

SALE: RACE 6 @ 3:20 PM

ISLAND EDITION (2) has had plenty of chances now and has run well without winning since the maiden success. One win from nine but without a bad run in sight and this looks a lovely chance for him to get some reward for effort. Brings a string of ratings to the table that say he is good enough to take care of these. Respecting MT BULLER (5) off the dominant win at Ararat, for all that there might not have been a lot chasing him, and clearly HARANNDA (4) has a dangerous profile. Another to win last time out, back in Ireland, and she has jumped out in Australia as though she has settled in. MADDOX (7) just peaked on the run fresh. Fitter and has a hope.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Island Edition getting the elusive second win.

IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 4:03 PM

DEVASTATING (4) has just been beaten both starts back and the on-pacer comes back plenty in grade. Has the speed to manage the awkward barrier and it's hard to risk the potent Maloney-Gollan linkage. FIRST PEOPLES (5) is a leader who was good at Beaumont (Newcastle) two back and will take running down. KARAOKE QUEEN (10) has been good both runs back and finds easier. Darws out but expect the longer sprint to suit. READY FOR ANYTHING (6) will be better for the firs-up run and Darws low with Thompson booked. In the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Devastating to win.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 6 @ 4:15 PM

NERRIVIK (8) didn't beat much of a field at Clare on debut but did it in style. She has the breeding to go further and should really win this race as well. RECREANT (3) was just as impressive as the top selection on debut when he came with a sustained burst to win going away. He is a five year old having his second career run so he has been given plenty of time to mature. This fellow has not finished winning yet. Watch closely. AMFISSA (1) has improved at each of her two runs this time in and should be even sharper third up, she drops in class for this assignment and is ready to show her best. Can win.
SELECTIONS: Nerrivik win bet.

PINJARRA SCARPSIDE: RACE 6 @ 3:35 PM

VITAL TIMES (10 has had three placings from six runs this prep. Only just missed last start when coming from eighth on the turn to finish a nose second over 1500m after making a slow start. If she can begin on level terms with her rivals today, she should be winning here. MONEY FOR MUSIC (7) finished two lengths off the winner for fourth when making his racing debut last start at Albany. Will strip a lot fitter today and has solid each-way claims. PRESIDENT SAM (3) has two placings from four runs this prep and ran on strongly from fifth on the turn here last start to finish second. Rates well on that last start performance and should be finishing in the top three. LET THEM ALL TALK (4) faded from second on the turn to finish fourth over 1600m here last time out in what was just his second raceday start. He will strip fitter today and should be finishing in the money.
SELECTIONS: Vital Times to win
