Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Cowra and Warwick.

KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 2 @ 2:10 PM

A lot to learn here with many facing the starter for the first time. The well-bred FANAGORIA (4) is on debut but has shown enough at the trials to warrant respect in this. Monitor market activity. VINNIE'S SPIRIT (2) has won both Randwick trials since his Rosehill debut last year and can run a race while fresh. The well-related HELLCENT (5) gets the services of Pike in the irons and any betting support should be noted. NORTHUMBRIA (1) best of the rest from the low draw.
SELECTIONS: Fanagoria to win.

COWRA: RACE 4 @ 3:05 PM

STAY WEALTHY (1) was on-speed and back to his best beaten a head at Canberra. Should get the run of the race and can go one better. IMPERIONESS (5) will run along and has won and gone close her last two in the country. Is a decent chance. BOONGARRA GIRL (7) won the Maiden by a space at Orange and will get every chance to build on that. DISSONANCE (2) resumes for the new yard. Is certainly good enough at best and the late betting has to be monitored closely.
SELECTIONS: Going with Stay Wealthy.

WARWICK: RACE 7 @ 4:04 PM

NORTHERN EXPRESS (3) resumes as a gelding for the Nolen barn. The 2yo is sure to have come on and his form is good enough for this. He will run along from the handy barrier and take beating. BEST SONG (8) impressed first-up at Mackay and then raced a bit new placing at the Sunshine Coast. She will be fitter and counting on high course-striker Stanley to manage an outside gate. She can keep improving. MANDALAY BLONDE (5) ran along and won the Maiden comfortably at Gatton. Will have come on and can make the finish. DARCIE GIRL (7) was plain at Grafton but led and won the Toowoomba Maiden prior and will give some cheek using the rail.
SELECTIONS: Backing Northern Express.
