Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sandown Hillside, Randwick Kensington, Belmont Park, Gawler and Ipswich.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 8 @ 4:30 PM

A nice return from SO RISQUE (5) sets the platform for a return to winning ways. Strong performance and that form has a nice look about it with the winner already stepping out again and running well at Flemington. So Risque showed plenty of talent last prep and has ratings in strong races that say he is well up to taking this. Respect MILLIONDOLLARBILL (15) who kicks off here. Went for a break on the back of a big win that can measure up despite this being a deeper contest. JONTY (9) also comes off winning by a space last time out and has to be considered. ZIMOWY (13) was only a narrow winner but it came here on the Lakeside and measures up.
SELECTIONS: Like So Risque in the last.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 8 @ 4:15 PM

MAHALEO (1) won comfortably first-up much improved and has gone close the two since. Comes back in grade and a top hoop stays with him. Keeps improving and is the one to beat over the longer trip. FAR TOO STRONG (2) just missed here this grade at the mile after a forget run. Keeps the in-form Harvey and the blinkers come off. Peaks and is a player. HEAPS OF MOOLAH (4) has won his last two easily over middle distances. He draws to again ride the speed and keeps the handy 2kg claim. MIDNIGHT MYSTERY (5) has been threatening in better class and should get the extra 200m.
SELECTIONS: Backing Mahaleo to win.

GAWLER: RACE 6 @ 3:40 PM

CHEVITE (1) has been run down in both starts this campaign and though beaten a long way last time out he wasn't ridden out and was allowed to coast home. He is much better that that and will be peaking third up. He boasts impressive course and distance stats, with his best form coming on wet surfaces. He is reunited with Todd Pannell and is ready to show his best. ZIP AKEED (9) is a consistent mare making a fresh return and though she can need a run early on the booking of Barend Vorster suggests that she is ready for a big performance. Barend has not missed a cheque in five rides on this mare. Watch for her late. CARTIER TIARA (10) won easily four starts back and hasn't been far away in three runs since then. She made up plenty of late ground last start at Murray Bridge and does save her best for this track. Include in all combinations. SANBUCK (2) is fresh up from a good draw and seldom misses a cheque at the distance. A bold effort can be expected.
SELECTIONS: Chevite win bet.

IPSWICH: RACE 8 @ 4:38 PM

SHNITTY (3) is speed-bred and raced favourite here first-up beaten 1.6L. She will be better for that and has plenty up the sleeve. Tipping the rails draw won't bother and winning rider Cahill is reunited. VACCINE (1) rates a danger building on the expected first-up Maiden win at Doomben. The query is the outside barrier. She will likely settle back and require an Orman special. VITAL SOURCE (7) also has claims peaking off the 1,4L defeat here at better level. A wide gate makes it tougher for her as well. Waller has switched PRASIOLITE (5) from Sydney where he's been struggling to find his best on wet tracks. He is right up to this and has to be kept very safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Shnitty.
