Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Corowa, Scone, Warracknabeal and Sunshine Coast Poly.

COROWA: RACE 4 @ 2:25 PM

GUSONIC (2) got the job done in town last time out and the second horse in that race has since put two wins together on the bounce. Rates the testing material against this lot. GHOST DOCTOR (3) has a handy record here with a win and four placings from seven outings. Gets 1.5kg off and looks a serious contender. BELL'S INNOCENT (5) has been knocking on the door in recent times and gets in well at the weights with the claim. In the mix. PAY THE DEELER (8) has placed four from five around this circuit and is one for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Gusonic to win.

SCONE: RACE 1 @ 12:50 PM

ASHERLA (4) is a Kris Lees trained filly who looks placed to advantage today. Trapped wide early and kept finding the line when third over this trip at Gunnedah last start. Claim helps and drawn to get the gun run. MISS KOJIKI (3) has her hoof on the till after encouraging runs in similar company. Started a solid favourite last start when just failing over 1007m at Taree. Another who gets all the favours, and should fight out the finish. IN SPADES (5) disappointed last time out, but go on previous strong efforts in similar company when assessing her chances. Should bounce back here. REDEEMING SPIRIT (7) won well fresh but disappointed last time out at Tamworth. Can bounce back from the good alley.
SELECTIONS: Asherla to win.

WARRACKNABEAL: RACE 4 @ 2:00 PM

PONTIFICATE (10) gets every chance today to break her maiden status in this field. Rattled late to finish third last start over 1620m at Donald. Ticks all the boxes and Dean Holland retains the mount. Go close. OUR DUKE (6) has been desperately unlucky at his last two outings and can break through here. PURINUAN BOY (7) gives the impression this trip will suit and no surprise to see a better performance. FIRMITY (8) is some query in the going, but staying at the 1600m looks to suit and he can improve.
SELECTIONS: Pontificate to win.
