More rain appears on the way so looking for those who will handle it at Belmont on Saturday.

The winter 3yo tests begin with the Belmont Guineas at Listed level and we're happy to stick with Rokanori after getting few favours in the lead up Raconteur.

While the winner Devoted was riding the pace, this colt was back in a bad spot needing to make ground fast.

When he got clear he charged home indicating the added furlong has to benefit him and given he's won at 1800m before, he's got plenty in his favour.

Hoping punters back those with the last start wins and we could get surprisingly good odds.

For a fair bit of value, we go to the last over the 1000m and the resuming Dia De La Raza could well run a race.

Part of the reasoning is that he has seven of his eight victories on damp surfaces, including two on the heavy.

He's hardly a progressive horse being a 57 start 8yo but at this time of year it is very much horses for the right courses.

Just looking for Brad Rawiller to pull a pearler out of the bag. Realise it's right out of the market but funny things happen on very wet ground.
